Booked an associate to stay here for a short work trip. He has never complained about a room in 10 years, but when he arrived, he sent some pictures and said he couldn’t stay. Mold, broken piece of furniture, dirty room, holes in the comforter, stains on the toilet seat, etc! When he left, he told the front desks he was leaving and why. I asked ******* for a refund, they said the policy wasn’t followed to request the refund before leaving, and the manager declined. I don’t recommend staying in this hotel. Expedia’s customer service is frustrating. It took more than a hour and a request to speak to a manager, hearing no 4 times and request for assistance to cancel my account, did they offer anything to make up for the inconvenience . Not good.

I was very impressed with this small motel. We rented two rooms - one was a suite and one was a mini suite. You do have to keep in mind this is an older property. And I was happy with both rooms. And the managers are terrific. I hadn’t been to Clear Lake for ages. Like decades and I didn’t know what to expect. I would definitely stay here again.

For the price I am very pleased with what this location offered. I think it was a little under $100 per night. I wanted a lake view and you can definitely see the lake as you pull up to the property. There is a pier you can access as well if you want to look at the scenery and the lake. The staff was helpful although I only spoke to them when checking in and checking out. My biggest gripe is how dirty the place was. We had three flies in our room the moment we walked in. There's a picnic area and it's also where people let their dogs out to pee/poop. The poop hadn't been picked up in so long that it was growing fungus... If that doesn't bother you too much and you need to save some money, this isn't a bad place.

Nice location, large dock over the lake which we used in the day and at night; plenty of room for parking. Clean rooms, had everything we needed: Soap, coffee maker microwave, fridge, hair dryer, several TV channels to choose from. Two garbage bins - which is a big deal for me! The only thing stopping me from giving it 5 stars was the situation for ice. The room with the ice machine must have been 90 degrees and despite pushing the button for 5 solid minutes, could barely fill the bottom of the ice bucket. We only stayed a short time and were busy with visiting and activities.....did not have a chance to report this to hotel staff. Would definitely recommend this for short stays.

The owners of the property are the sweetest people in the world.This was my second time of staying there. I was looking for a place for my mother and I wouldn't have chosen any other place for her at this place. They make you feel like family and said if she needed anything.Since you would be there alone, just to let them know.They are awesome and the place is wonderful

The room was very terrible, the floor was dirty, the chairs were terribly dirty, the bathroom had hair on the window mold, the refrigerator was dirty and the hair inside, I hadn't been to a more terrible hotel before.
