No hot water in our one bedroom suite. Reported this issue on multiple times, with nothing other than a $100 credit towards a future visit, or move to a different room, with loss of river view. Totally unacceptable, regardless of the price of the room. What a shame, that the only great thing about this resort, is the view. Definitely at the bottom on the list of Hyatt properties we have stayed at, around the world.

My best friend and I met up at Suncadia to have lunch at The Source located in the Lodge. Our waitress, Karen, was friendly and attentive and quick to offer suggestions on food and drink (highly recommend the huckleberry mimosa). We had a great meal in a beautiful atmosphere and cannot wait to come back.

Suncadia is an absolute dream! From the moment we pulled up, we were enchanted. The lodge itself is beautiful, with a grand yet cozy feel that perfectly blends rustic charm with modern comfort. Every corner felt inviting, and the staff were wonderfully welcoming, making us feel right at home. We left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and already planning our next trip back to this incredible getaway! Avah at the front desk made us feel at home.

I’ve brought my kids to Suncadia for the last three summers. The first summer was amazing, but it has declined in quality since then. The change to only allowing home owners to use the Nelson Farm pool is the biggest negative difference. This is a great, fun pool with options for kids to spend a whole day here. The food is also great. The swim and fitness center pool is surrounded by wet and muddy grass, making it extremely unpleasant to move. The food is mediocre at best and there’s only one option (with about 5 total menu items). It’s a great winter option but in the summer it’s not. We loved the Reptile Lady at the Nelson Farm, but they’ve taken away options like tie-dye at Nelson Farm and they keep them in the literature, so my kids got excited and then weren’t able to do it. As great as Nelson Farm is (playground, garden), the staff at the adventure space were slow and not good. On the plus side, the lodge pool lounge chairs are great. Sandi at The Source was awesome, as were the bartenders there. The food and service at Swiftwater Cellars is always amazing, as are the shuttle drivers.

I didn't stay at Suncadia, but I ran a 10K there, and the grounds are incredible. It's so beautiful and well kept that I can't imagine anything but a great experience staying there. It has an onsite pool, mountain views and well kept trails.

Very disappointing. I have been here several times in the past, and the decline in service has been noticeable. Food is mediocre. Service is nonexistent. The staff just doesn’t seem to care. A huge letdown. This used to be one of my favorite places.

Darren, Brad, and their staff were amazing! Their attention to detail and the service their staff provided made for a fantastic overall experience. Both Prospector and Rope Rider courses were in excellent shape — hats off to the Superintendent and his crew for keeping the conditions top-notch. Can’t wait to come back!

The Source restaurant in the main lodge was excellent and our waitress Sandi was exceptional. She asked us how our steaks were and when we told her they were overdone, she immediately went back to the kitchen and had new steaks brought out.
