在英國這次住了這麼多家酒店，唯一踩坑的一家。這家基本上就是一家印度人運營的家庭旅館，不是連鎖酒店，果然就踩了坑。我們一家三口，一個孩子，説房間小住不下，臨時加收了兩晚1200人民幣，但又説沒房，衹換了第二晚的房，為什麼要加收兩晚的費用？住其他的連鎖酒店就沒有這種問題。小的家庭旅館就是會有這種事情，攜程不應該掛牌這樣的旅館。服務跟價格比起來，能訂連鎖酒店的還是訂連鎖酒店吧。設施也非常一般，就是山間小屋，又小又潮。位置的話，距離温德米爾火車站直線距離很近，但這個是障眼法。實際上你過不去，輪渡你要有足夠的時間，還要倒公交，交通非常不便。我們從火車站出來，打車繞湖30分鐘花了400人民幣。

Excellent place, good parking. Excellent bar and restaurant. Fantastic family run place!! Spotless clean, we would definitely stay again. Breakfast very very good. Lunch/ dinner, faultless, these people really know how to look after their guests!!! Top tip, go left out of hotel and get the 5 minute car ferry to Windermere.

Great service and hospitality from the staff at the hotel. The food is good value and is based on a classic pub menu of staples - pie and chips, burgers, sausage and mash etc but some dishes have an Indian twist. Beer is good too. Well kept and good choices. The room we had needs a bit of a refresh but all in all this is a good base for a week or so of walking or exploring on the west side of Windermere. The ferry is only 5 mins drive away too. Recommended for a week’s stay for sure. Close to Hawkshead, Wray and Ambleside.

Went for an evening meal here. Really impressed. The family run establishment is friendly, greeting us as we came in. We were seated near the windows, with lovely views. The menu was a great mix of pub classics and a couple Mauritian dishes. I had the Mauritian curry and it was excellent. My only criticism would be the white wine we ordered wasn’t chilled enough. Overall highly recommend if in the area.

Spent four nights here and absolutely loved it! Staff are amazing, friendly, funny and charming. They went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome, such a lovely family atmosphere.

Service is excellent as was the evening meal and breakfast. Only down point was being put in room 21 which is behind the reception next to the toilets and staff only rooms, constant door banging till about 10pm but then went quiet apart from the noise from the car park and hearing voices in the reception area. We have stayed here a few times before and always had a pleasant stay, but advise you phone your booking and make sure your in an upstairs room. Avoid room 21
