"Unprofessional staff and manager, badly organized for such a nice place. What they advertise it s different than what you receive and the customer service is zero. The place is really nice and the rooms are great and it’s a shame that the hospitality is missing."

"Great stay at Mercure Alba Iulia. The staff at front desk are kind. The rooms were very comfortable, especially the large bed and crisp sheets. The veranda was a welcomed addition as well. The breakfast provided at no extra cost was a little basic but was more than enough for all the needs of our group. Very good place for both a short overnight stay or for longer periods to really explore the area."

"Unfortunately, this hotel was a big disappointment. The only real positives were the very comfortable bed and the convenient location. Beyond that, our experience was quite poor. The carpet in the room was dirty and worn, the air was musty, and there was mold in the bathroom. Staff seemed uninterested and showed little attention to guests. The breakfast was shockingly bad for a hotel claiming to be four-star: limited selection, many items were dried out or appeared old. When we asked if something fresh could be prepared, we were told the kitchen didn’t have time. Overall, definitely not up to four-star standards."

"A boutique hotel which is a short walk from the citadel. There is a small amount of parking at the front of the hotel and the staff ensures everyone can park. The rooms are spacious with a bathroom with modern shower and bathroom fittings. There ate no tea or coffee facilities but there is a small fridge doubled up as a minibar. Breakfast is ok, but not a large choice. There is no lift but this didn’t matter to us as we had small hand luggage only."

"We chose this hotel because it was close to the bus station. It's a small, privately owned hotel. Cozy and clean. Friendly and attentive service. The only downside is that it's very noisy. You can hear the water running and dripping in the next room and from the upstairs floor, and you can hear all conversations both in the rooms and from the street. There's a complete lack of soundproofing. We couldn't get a good night's sleep over two nights."

"We stayed at Mercure Sibiu Arsenal for 2 nights in August 2025 and absolutely loved it! The hotel is in a great location — next to Sub Arini Park and a short walk from the old town. The staff were super friendly and professional, everything was spotless, and the overall atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. We had a spacious room with a lovely terrace and one of the most comfortable beds ever! Great breakfast, excellent facilities, and the Winestone restaurant was a real treat — delicious food and perfect service. Thank you, Mercure Sibiu Arsenal team, for a fantastic stay. We’d love to come back!"
