In general, it is attracted by the photos on the hotel page of Ctrip.com, and it is too great to exclaim the photographer after arriving at the hotel. Just a small roadside hotel, this price is not worth living.
What a beautiful hotel, inside and out, and the service was top notch. High end amenities in the room and Tony's Restaurant (located inside the hotel) was fabulous!! Highly recommend.
Past reviews had feedback about construction. It’s over, and the place is engineered for a relaxing place if you are visiting Rye for biz or family/pleasure. Rooms are clean and I loved that they had housekeeping done each day before 10:00 am. We are here to celebrate a new grandbaby and have made this our “nest”. The cafe is excellent (I assumed nasty motel breakfast and got a delish Gruyère burrito.). Decent wine and excellent little convo spaces with TVs ( Succession!) where we felt like this is a home away from home. The staff are aware this is a turnaround and anxious to please in the best way. Lovely people. Once the night nurse is done, and the guest room is open, we may not need to Courtyard but as our family grows in Rye I’m so happy to know this is an option! Good job, people who work here 👍

We have stayed in this hotel several times, all for the convenience of students taking exams. The hotel is not bad, the service attitude of the front desk staff is very good, and the room facilities are also good.
I enjoyed my stay from check in to breakfast and check out. Everyone at the front desk was amazing. Sandy in breakfast was really sweet and helpful. Antoinette helped me a lot with My room keys and understanding My charges. Theresa was great with assisting me to get towels for My room.
I needed a place to stay while my home's lawn was being treated, and Super 8 in nearby Stamford fit the bill: Spotlessly clean & fresh room with all a person needs, truly a non-smoking room, great quiet climate control, humongous perfect comfortable bed with THREE (3) excellent comfy pillows and lovely fresh linens, a bigger-than-mini fridge, very welcome tea/coffee maker & supplies, excellent microwave, great LG TV, strong wifi, toiletries and plenty of freshly laundered towels in the bright clean bathroom with a plenty deep bathtub with shower. The lighting everywhere was perfect, the very roomy closet (all usable space!) had full length mirrored bifold doors, very useful desk & chair, plenty of electrical outlets thankfully well-placed for easy access. The parking lot was clean, well paved and easy to manuever. The staff is excellent, helpful, reliable, confidence-inspiring, super-nice, available 24/7, welcoming & attentive 😊 Superb Super 8 by Wyndam in Stamford, CT was great! Thank you everyone ⚘ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I haven't been here since before COVID so I'm considering that in this review. I think they have made zero improvements since 2019. I checked in to find out that there were no bottles of water. It was a good thing I brought my own and I'm a Gold Honors member. The front desk worker was very nice and pleasant. But the rooms are getting very old and are in a dire need of a makeover.
I haven't returned to Stamford for a long time. I am very satisfied with the hotel I chose this time. The young lady in the lobby is very Nice. You can walk to downtown. The surrounding area is safe and quiet. I will choose here next time I return to Connecticut.
Upon check in room 729 : Absolutely No help at front desk! Not welcoming at all. The lady there, did not smile. Did not ask anything, she had a reaction of disgust on her face, almost seemed a bit ******. Normally I am used to hearing some level of greeting. There was absolutely nothing here. Truly have never been treated so badly before. I was charged an additional $586.00 for the stay. Totalling to $1,961.33. Not a single receipt in sight. I stayed 19-23 Oct 2023. I was also held at reception for over 2hrs resulting to me missing Uber which got cancelled and was charged for I then missing the event I came to the states for. Absolutely No sense of remorse from the staff or so called reception manager. The air conditioning in the room constantly made a humming sound. Sleep quality was very poor. I would have provided this feedback, if someone one asked We were lugging our luggage and struggling with the hotel door. There was no attempt being made to hold the door for us. I understand you do not have porter service. But what stops you to help someone with the door?. Never staying here again and I do not recommend it!!! I demand a receipt and I’m demanding my money back or I inform the police. It’s as simple as that!
