4.6/5
Outstanding
GGuest UserGreat place to stay, room wise. Overall, the entire hotel was clean, organized, and well kept. They have a small pool though and it was cold. Management said they would check the heater. No hot tub either but all in all we enjoyed our stay.
MMaxwellDawnVery clean hotel, conveniently located off freeway. One bed was extremely comfortable. The other bed sagged so I just rotated the mattress and all was better
GGuest UserGreat. Really clean and quiet and the bed was super comfy. The only thing was there was the hot water wasn’t working but that’s okay: extra fresh
GGuest Userroom was gorgeous and hotel was near everything so booking and Uber for a drunken night around downtown KC was $10-$15 a ride. Front desk only had one person so that was not very efficient especially if that one person had to step away, you’d be standing at the check in for a while waiting, another downside was pool was rarely open. There wasn’t really any structured swim hours just an ‘out of service’ sign on the door every other hour.
MMamaof6food was great rooms where awesome an the kids loved the waterpark my family and I have stayed before an the customer service an overall stay every time was magnificent I give it a 10 out of 10
GGuest UserThe blow dryer didn't work it was dirty and the shower head was broken and poured out the same as the tub faucet. But over all cleanliness was on point
GGuest UserLook, for the price it is probably better than most. The nonexistent staff was the biggest disappointment. Took me almost an hour to wake someone from their slumber (4:30-5:30 pm) to check me in. I had to be somewhere at 6:00 pm so this was very frustrating. Btw, ringing the bell does absolutely nothing.
Outside of that the room seemed clean and modernized but the heater did nothing so I froze through the night.
The breakfast, I'd say stick to the waffles. I'm glad they offered eggs, sausage and biscuits and gravy but the eggs were watery and I didn't trust the gravy. Sausage was ok.
The gym is a joke. I spent most of my time trying to fix the cables on their Smith Machine that's shoehorned into the corner of a very small room. Then I did some free weights but I had to do all exercises while sitting down because I kept hitting the ceiling with shoulder presses and over the head tricep extensions. lol.
They're trying, kind of like the little engine that could. Like I said, for $65 it's probably your best option.
YYiningThe location of the hotel is convenient, the front desk staff is friendly, the hotel facilities are old, the interior of the room is clean, but the hotel has a strong smell of smoke overall, the advantage is that the price is cheap.
