Response from Property: Dear Ms. STEPHANIE, you booked 3 light and shadow rooms. That afternoon, the front desk guy saw that you were checking in with your elderly family and children, so he specially upgraded 2 of them to Japanese-style rooms with windows for you, and stayed in the original room type for 1 room. After you went up, you said there was a smell of smoke and asked to upgrade to a room with windows. Since the room type was full the next day, you had to change back to the light and shadow room the next day after the upgrade, which also meant that we would take you to see the room the next day until you were satisfied. From your order notes: non-smoking was required, we focused on repeatedly checking the room and turning on the air conditioner for ventilation to make sure there was no odor before opening the room for you. 1. If there was a smell of smoke in the light and shadow room that day, we took you to see a room with windows, but you insisted on not changing the room? 2. The other two upgraded rooms both had a strong smell of cigarette smoke as you described. Was it still possible to stay there until nearly 6pm the next day? During this period, we did not charge you for the whole day. 3. You said that you were bitten by mosquitoes all over your body. Each room is equipped with mosquito repellent and there are dedicated personnel to disinfect regularly. We did not hear any feedback from you during the check-in process. 4. Cigarette butts were found in the pictures. We sincerely apologize to you and we will strengthen the management in this area.
