Staff very attentive as a small intimate Quinta. Beautifully decorated, staff friendly, rooms very comfortable and Paula the owner even went out of her way to make us welcome and help with our needs. Must have a car but from here we were roughly 1hr from many sites we wanted to see while having a home base in a quiet and picturesque area.

Very friendly staff, my wife has mobility issues and we were allowed to park in the area for easy walking. The building itself was modern with awesome views. Very nice sitting area, pool for those who choose to swim. Large sunning area, breakfast was pretty good.
The drive in from main road is an old track, slow going and tight.

Ótimo fim de semana passado na Quinta Alto do Rio. Receção inacreditável por parte dos proprietários, com imenso cuidado e atenção a pormenores que tornaram a estadia ainda melhor. Totalmente recomendo a visita. 😊

It felt like home! Paula was really nice and made sure that everything we needed was available. The room was really cosy and modern, the breakfast was delicious! We had our check out until 15h but the staff allowed us to stay with no limit and use the pool. Nothing bad to say, it was an excelent experience!
