Campsite is run down. The people running it and looking after the place are not very helpful. Camp Toilet and shower is run down and no toilet paper. The restaurant and bar is non existing and pool area is not being looked after. Not worth the money what you pay and I would not recommend the place or stay here again.

A great lodge close to Chobe. We were there as part of a group. The service was excellent and food well prepared. Rooms were very comfortable with aircon. The grounds are well maintained and extend to the banks of the river. The staff are all very friendly and take pride in their lodge

A very beautiful place cool and green right on the river. The rooms are spotless. The views are wonderful. The birding on the property was amazing- the big fig tree had about 5 lovely species one morning. We had a lovely break from the heat . The pool was clean and the staff excellent

Very disappointed with this place it deserves a poor rating. The air-conditioner won't change the temperature so struggling to get sleep. Could do with a better clean. The pool looks unusable and dirty. The food leaves a lot to be desired very disappointed.

We spent 2 nights at the Big 5 Chobe Lodge, the rooms were clean, had all the supplies we needed, the views were amazing and the staff were always very accommodating with whatever we asked of them. They booked us a day trip to Victoria Falls and a boat safari, both ran punctually and were very enjoyable. I Would 100% go back and would 100% recommend to anyone!

Tshiede ( the lady at reception) is very effiecient and her customer service is excellent. Josiah is a very good guide. Bed and pillows comfortable. Furniture/crockery/cutlery needs urgent upgrade. Room can do with a few more hangers. Food choices for dinner very limited. Grass gets watered early evening and very soggy when you go out for dinner. Such a nice setting, yet you leave dissapointed.The last thing one needs is loud music that disturbs your sleep.

What a disappointment!!! If you are camping, stay away. In January 2022 we made reservations for 3 couples (3 caravans) at Big 5 Chobe. Upon arrival, we were horrified to see the state in which the camping sites were. The ablutions were rickety, the ground was covered in wild shrubs & weeds. It was obvious that nothing towards the upkeep was done to the campsites. We turned around & went to Senyati.

Wir hatten einen fantastischer Aufenthalt in der Chobe Big 5 Lodge. Sehr schöne teils neu eingereichte Zimmer/Chalets. Sehr gutes Essen.:Liebevoll angerichtet und lecker. Die Mitarbeitenden und die neue Leitung super freundlich!
