It's luxurious to have it almost to yourself for most of the time. The room we stayed in was quite old, and we found two toilet bugs. It was extremely dry, so we set up a humidifier right next to the bed. It was great to be able to use the shuttle bus to the station on the way back. Overall, I think it's worth the price. I'd like to stay here with my family next time."

I was surprised that there was no air conditioning in the room even though it was summer, but it was really cool and I slept comfortably. Located in Nagano Prefecture, Tateshina in November is noticeably chilly, but the crisp, fresh air and beautiful clear skies made it an exceptional experience. It felt incredibly refreshing, lifting my spirits in a way that’s hard to put into words. The Tokyu Harvest Club Tateshina is not only appealing because of its stunning natural surroundings but also thanks to the warm and attentive service provided by the local staff. Their smiles and thoughtful hospitality made the stay even more enjoyable and memorable. The drive from Tokyo to Tateshina was another highlight of the trip. Along the way, we stopped by several local markets, where we picked up fresh vegetables and fruits. These local treats added a special touch to the journey, making the drive even more delightful. Tateshina is a destination that shines year-round, offering unique beauty in every season. However, the crisp November air and the lingering autumn colors make this time of year particularly enchanting. If you have the chance, I highly recommend visiting—it’s an experience you won’t forget!"

"I used it this time for the purpose of mountain climbing with a friend. The staff were also very kind! The kitchen, dining area, washroom and shower room were also quite clean and I had a comfortable stay. This time I stayed in a Japanese-style room, but there was a kotatsu, so it was perfect considering I was only going to sleep! I was able to purchase tickets for a nearby hot spring facility (about 5 minutes walk) at a low price at the reception! We hope to stay again next time."

"More pleasant than expected, there is a very stylish complex around the "Lake Yuke", there are hotels, restaurants, shops...tiny garden is one of them. You can cruise on the lake, walk from the lake to the campground 🏕️ on the small road through the "sculpture park", the small stream on the side of the road is very artistic... The camp is fully equipped and clean, BBQ is set up at night, the children set off fireworks after eating, and the whole family roasts the fire after letting it go. Lying on the grass and looking up at the starry sky 🌌"

"When I visited before, heavy rain made it impossible to use the outdoor facilities and the dining service was not good, so I had not been there, but for some reason I became interested in the "in-room dining" and returned to try a walk and the dog run again. After four years, the system, staff, and desserts on the dinner menu have been simplified, and the rooms have changed little by little, with tables for meals instead of closets. In the large atrium hall, free drinks (coffee, tea) and dog treats are still available, and the dog shop has increased the number of items they stock and accepts photo shoots. Indoor dog runs are bright and common, but the dog run and promenade in the woods outside are surrounded by greenery and are pleasant, as if they were a summer resort. Dinner was brought to us on a cart with a heat-retaining function, and the initial table setting was done, and we did the rest at our own pace, which I thought would be no big deal since it was in-room dining, but it was just like what was served in a restaurant, and we could eat at our own pace, and the hot food was hot (not piping hot) and delicious. It was better than I expected. Four years ago, I had it at the restaurant, but some of the food was already prepared when I sat down, and the freshly baked food was cold and the service was sloppy, so I wasn't expecting it to be that bad, so I was happy and excited. I was able to take a leisurely bath in the hot spring, and I wasn't bothered by the barking of dogs in other rooms. I guess it's up to the guest to decide whether to bathe or not, but it was good. Although it is a hotel, you have to carry your luggage yourself in a cart at the entrance, and the staff don't actively talk to you unless necessary, so it may not be suitable for those who expect attentive service, but you can spend time with your dog, walk in the trees, and spend time at the dog run. Spend time together in the room. I think it's great that you can bring your dog to the restaurant. There are only a few hotels that allow you to bring your dog to the restaurant, and the dog cart is quite good, so you can use it with peace of mind. (There was also a cart for medium-sized dogs) I changed my perception that it is a great place to spend a relaxing time with your dog. It is a simple and simple hotel that is truly dog-friendly."

I am very grateful for your kind welcome and I am amazed at the work that the team of your hotel does at this place. Everything feels natural and beautiful, and the atmosphere is so peaceful and special. People who work here are passionate about their job, and as a passionate person myself I feel energized and happy to see others be so amused about what they do. I will always remember my first stay here and I will compare other ryokans I go to with Meiji Onsen Ryokan, because I feel that it’s the best ryokan in Japan. Thank you so much for this amazing experience. And Okami-chan is the best girl in all of Nagano! When I come back home, I will tell everyone who she is and where she is from - Meiji Onsen Ryokan, Chino, Nagano, Japan! 🇯🇵 (As a fantastic bonus, it’s even allowed to go in with uncovered tattoos! Not every ryokan can match up to that!)"
