A great rustic lodge with expansive views, excellent food and drinks, friendly staff, and cozy rustic cabins with wood stove. We stayed in a 3 bedroom cabin with another couple. Great views, hiking, and meals were excellent. Good location for getting down to Patagonia National Park, Puerto Rio Tranquilo, and San Rafael activities. Can't recommend this place enough!

Cosy lodge. We weren’t self catering but only limited tea/ coffee making facilities. You need to remind yourself where you are…. Bathroom was very rustic and needed to check for slugs on the shower curtain! Wood fire was lit for evening with a plentiful amount of wood available. Needed to adjust the timer on the electric heater or the morning was very chilly. Food was good. Nothing fancy but perfectly acceptable. The walk to the lake was great and made even better when accompanied by Gary the staffie! Fishing at a nearby lake was enjoyable.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful in planning hikes the day we left. Decor was fun and beautiful. Food was outstanding, local and large portions we used some fir our dinner the next day,

We spent 1 night at this ecolodge , dinner was amazing , we called in advance to reserve dinner . The lodge has a 9 km trail with amazing views of Bertrand and General Carreras lake

Great views and nice atmosphere
Very friendly team. Comfy bed. Great views. Dinner 60 dollars which some reviews have complained about but the food was good and the price reflects the overheads and fixed costs of running a small enterprise in such a remote location. We were very satisfied with our stay

Perfect Stay
Had a fantastic stay for 4 nights at Mallin. Belén and Roxana could not have been more helpful during our stay, booking in and organising for us our bucket list tours of Kayaking the Marble Caves and the Explorades Glacier Ice Walk. The companies that they used were first class.
Belén is extremely knowledgeable and was such a gracious host.
The walk at the back of the property has some of the best views around.
The rooms are lovely and thoughtfully decorated and the property is about 50mins from Rio Tranquilico by car and is a lovely drive.
Can’t fault our stay, thank you to the team at Mallin!

The view from the room is outstanding and the staff is great. The trails on the property lead to some of the nicest view points in Northern Patagonia.
