Treebo Punarnava Bypass Road

Terrible stay at Treebo Punarnava – Unsafe, mismanaged and not et all worth the money. Had to cut short a 2-night stay due to a cooking gas leak reaching the first floor — staff were unaware until I alerted them. Room was nothing like the photos: cramped, smelly sheets, water leak noise, poor breakfast, and no proper parking. Treebo and Cleartrip support kept blaming each other. Escalation went nowhere. Even their WhatsApp support (+91 95130 00497) is a joke — just a chatbot stuck in loops, offering no resolution. This place isn’t worth booking in advance. Avoid for your safety and peace of mind.

A decent stay at Java Rain, as it was rainy season the property looked so beautiful, but we couldn't explore much due to heavy rain. So we recommend to visit during winters or summer for best views and stay experience. Food was ok not great not bad to say. Staffs were very kind and helpful. Overall would like to give four star.

Room was clean and tidy. All essentials were provided. Worth the money. Complementary food was okish, there is no restaurant attached so they get you from nearby restaurants. Staff were friendly and the place is in affinity to MG road (3-4 kms)

Location - it's on the Chikmagalur town parallel to the MG Road. Service - superb. The staff were courteous and provided us with all things necessary for our stay. Amenities - It's been recently taken over by Treebo in 2022 January, and the entire amenities are refurbished and new. Value for money - It's decent and provides good VFM.

The location was easy to access and rooms were spacious. Service needed multiple reminders and could be improved. Some Amenities in bathroom were missing. Parking area isn’t currently available and you may need to park ***** the road side.

All good but the negative point is. The payment system. No card swipe machine is available. I paid Rs. 11, 381 but they gave manual bill of Rs. 10,381 (this was an amount I supposed to pay as shown during booking online. During booking I had entered details as 6 adults and 3 kids (1 - 3 years old and 2 - 9 years old) but I do not know what happened after booking in their system it was showing 6 Adults and 1 kid (3 years old). So at the time of check-in they asked me Rs 1000 extra for the other 2 kids. I request them to adjust in the same amount (i.e Rs 10, 381) as you are not going to provide any extra thing and rooms are same, but they refused by saying we have to show all details to company. After little discussion I agreed to pay Rs 1000 extra amount. But when I received the bill at the time of check-out they gave me bill of Rs. 10,381 and they have not mentioned about Rs 1000 I paid extra. When I asked them why they said we can provide bill of the amount showing online. But they have not mentioned about extra person, extra amount I paid anywhere.
