The hotel is lovely and very clean and the staff including Franco who was extremely friendly and accommodating, and Chef Marco whose homemade pastas were so delicious. We had a beautiful terrace which overlooked beautiful scenery. On Sunday morning, we were serenaded with a cacophony of church bells ringing simultaneously. It was simply beautiful. Although my tastes are more modern, for those who appreciate antiques and old world ambiance, Grande Albergo Is perfect.

La macchina del tempo dev'essersi fermata al 1950/1960 in questa struttura, sembra essere catapultati in un'altra epoca. Un incrocio tra il vintage, il kitsch e il retrò. Non so se sia il caso di chiamare il Comune, come sostiene qualcuno, certo è che la parola vecchio risulta piuttosto riduttiva. Se si vuole fare un salto nel passato, e nella polvere, consiglio di dormire qui.

Obsoleto e polveroso pieno di moquette non adatto a famiglie in quanto non è fornito di culle, è rimasto lì fermo all’epoca in cui è stato creato! Il ristorante non serve le portate proposte dal menù ma solo Due portate del giorno, non servono pane e condimenti e non hanno dolci, abbiamo mangiato con i bambini in braccio in quanto non hanno seggioloni, insomma potrebbe anche chiudere!!

Il tempo sembra essere fermo agli anni 70,con tanto di mobili etc. Le camere da letto e i bagni sono abbastanza grandi e se si e' fortunati si puo' vedere dalla camera o dal terrazzo un bellissimo panorama.

Albergo sporco,puzzolente (la mia camera puzzava di sigaretta da morire) ma è bene che racconti Primo paghiamo il mattino dopo la prima notte (siamo stati due) 75,00 euro a camera doppia con colazione compresa e ci è parso strano ma aveva il suo motivo.Usciamo per visitare il museo di Chieti molto bello e quando torniamo le camere non sono fatte e non le faranno perché a domanda il proprietario risponde:”non è colpa sua(cioè mia!😡)ma lui non trova personale,quindi anche asciugamani non cambiati.il Giorno dopo la colazione consisteva in cornetti bruciati serviti con il tovagliolo senza piatto.spero che questa recensione la legga il comune di Chieti perché così i turisti non ci vengono più

finalmente un albergo con letti come si deve! E' un po' una "macchina del tempo" con ritorno agli Anni Settanta, da un momento all'altro mi aspetto di vedere uscire Renzo Montagnani, Ugo Tognazzi e in più c'è una vista stepitosa dalle gole di Popoli, al Gran Sasso all'Adriatico. Prezzo onesto.

Un hotel sicuramente con un grande potenziale , che avranno sfruttato negli anni90 . Prorpio dove si è fermato il tempo all’interno della struttura, posizione strategica in quanto si è proprio nel centro storico, ma le camere piene di polvere (per me che sono allergica alla polvere è stato un grande problema), datate e strascurate , arredamento vecchio , appena aperta la porta della stanza l’odore non era piacevole , bagno sporco e rovinato . Hotel comunque di grande classe ma lasciato andare senza nessun segno di mantenimento. La colazione?!? Viene “servita” nel loro bar all’interno della struttura, dove però non è ben definito cosa dia previsto nella colazione, sono presenti le brioches che lasciano il tempo che trovano, due torte fatte in casa e un dispencere di cereali. Giusto 3 marmellate mono dosi e tre di crema alla nocciola , non è presente né acqua , né succhi , né yogurt … magari ci sono anche ma non viene comunicato. Il personale con paca ospitalità . Il parcheggio??? La struttura offre un parcheggio ma riservo a voi la sorpresa …
