We spent one night at the Rodeway Inn while visiting Sierra Nevada. The hotel was pretty quiet during our stay. We may have been the only guests. This is an old-style motel property with a parking port in front of each room. We were given a room toward the back of the property. It was pretty cold when we arrived, but we turned the heating up and it warmed up pretty efficiently. The room was clean. The bathroom was chilly, so I'd recommend leaving the bathroom door open during winter so that the heat from the bedroom circulates around the bathroom as well. The motel was a short walk from the brewery and taproom. The neighbourhood is safe to walk around, even at night. Despite advertising that breakfast was available in the listing (we booked though **********), there was not even coffee available in the lobby, although there was a coffee maker in the room. It was a little expensive for the quality of the property, which is pretty old, but there are limited options in Chico.

The exterior of the motel was very tidy and inviting. The front desk person was nice. It was a quiet location. We had two rooms, one with one bed the other with two. The room was much too small for two beds, your could barely get around them. The beds were clean and comfortable. We had a problem with the shower but it was quickly attended too. The downside was that the vinyl floors which should be easy to keep clean, were very dirty. The parking lot is fairly fresh asphalt and it is obvious that the floors are not mopped on a regular basis . Our feet were black.
