Green Hotel - Chiayi Reviews

hotel is overall clean and able to request various type of pillows as well as garment steamer. however, staff is unfriendly and did not offer help during check out. one of the guests' park his car right outside the hotel lobby while he was still drinking coffee slowly inside the reception, testing out the hand creams etc. as a result, due to the limited space, it was impossible for our car to enter the lobby to load our luggages. after politely asking the staff to assist, he turned a blind eye and stayed idle. note that no one is supposed to park right outside the hotel except for pick-up and drop-off. distasteful experience!

The front desk staff were friendly and nice. However, when we arrived around 1pm, we had to wait until 3pm to check in, as early check-in wasn’t allowed, which was a bit disappointing. The washroom had an unpleasant smell, likely due to the drainage system, but they thoughtfully provided an air freshener. The triple room’s bathroom was a bit small, probably due to the design, and lacked space to hang clothes. The location is very convenient, about a 10–15 minute walk to Chiayi Train Station. One of the best parts of the stay was the luggage storage service — since we were heading to Alishan the next day, we could leave our large suitcases at the hotel overnight and pick them up when we returned. Also, the nearby restaurant serving Chiayi meat soup is great — definitely worth a try!

Around 500 m from the TRA Chiayi front exit, the staff are friendly and kind. The room is big enough for two people and their luggage. The lobby smells good; there is a small café in the lobby. The bathroom is a separate wet and dry area. A hairdryer is in the room, and the toilet is an automatic bidet. The bed is comfortable, and the pillows are soft for sleeping well. We were able to leave our luggage after checking out because of my Alishan itinerary.

The staff at Green Hotel rooms are clean, comfortable and well-maintained. A great experience overall.

The bathroom was quite compact and had an unpleasant odor. It would also be more convenient if there were more charging outlets near the bed.

Price is cheap and affordable! Good service, well recommend!

This hotel was great and it made our stay of 2 nights in Chiayi / Alishan very satisfying. I loved the eco details, and how central in Chiayi it was. The meeting room in 2nd floor was also great, very atmospheric.

The best budget hotel I have ever stayed. The design of the room, from charging points to night lights are all well positioned, making the stay super comfy. Location also good, close to tra station and wenhua night market.

10 mins walk to the Chai Yi train station , close to the night market, a lot of food shop near by .

Great location, good that they have a parking lot but need to walk a distance, not convenient with luggages. Hotel is clean, but room is very small. Separate bath and toilet. Water cooler just outside the room. Recommend!

The staffs were very helpful, the location is really good, opposite has a 7-11 very convenient. The room is clean plus there is a reading corner with free snacks and tea all day.
