Le Vecchie Cantine

We had a lovely time. The food was good and the service was wonderful. Chianni is a beautiful little authentic Italian town and this restaurant is right in the center of things. There was both indoor and outdoor seating and there seem to be a lot of locals supporting the restaurant which is always a good sign.

Location is nice if you want to get away from busy cities. Rooms was nice but towels are like Tea Towels. Atmosphere is pleasant Value for money was poor as the sp, massage, sun loungers/garden was not available Clean Quiet Service was ok but they didn’t speak good English.

Delicious dinner! The hamburger with cheese (not sandwich, but steak) was extremely good and different food in positively way. The waiter was so helpful, nice and also get tips. So lovely experiment in restaurant! We will go back - I highly recommend ☺️

The hotel and surrounding area is a beautiful setting to relax and enjoy a small Tuscan village. We were welcomed by Alessio and he was always there to answer our questions and requests. The restaurant serves delicious Tuscan fare. We got to explore Badia di Morrrona and Lari. We highly recommend Arianna and Friends to arrange your trip and tours. Ask for Massimo as a guide for great history and local specialties.

Lovely restaurant at the top of the hill in Chianni Tuscany. One of the best meals in Tuscany we have ever had. We had truffle bruschetta followed by truffle pasta for me and truffle burger for husband. Good decent cheap local wine. Busy but good service. Lovely interior. Great value

We arrived late in the afternoon about 4pm expecting a great experience at this hotel but this was not to be. We were upgraded to the so called penthouse apartment which wasn't in the hotel which was mentioned but wasn't mentioned how far away it was from the main hotel. The access to the room was in a narrow very dark staircase leading up to the room which was an access way for a number of other flats or apartments. There was a random microwave abandoned in the staircase which was a trip hazard. We got into the room and were very disappointed with the quality of the room. It smelt very badly of some cleaning fluid yet managed to look dirty everywhere. The quality of the fittings and fixtures was very poor the bathroom looked terrible the bath was dirty and the toilet had been used and not flushed, there was literally no furniture in the bedroom and the bed had no pillows. I wold liken the whole room to that of a prison cell. Tried to take these issues up with the manager who whilst initially was helpful did not resolve the issue, said the rest of the hotel was fully booked and tried to negotiate a refund to no avail and we eventually left the hotel after 2 hours of speaking to *********** customer services again with no satisfactory resolution. First time in many years of travel i have ever turned down a hotel room and was definitely not impressed would not recommend at all.
