Fortuna Resort

We organised an international carrom tournament in this hotel during August occupying every room and we were really happy with the level of hospitality offered. The location is really good as it is slightly outside the modern town but walking distance to the pretty historic centre on the hill. The property is surrounded by its own private park with sweet smelling pine trees creating lots of shade with hammocks scattered here and there. The pool area was always clean with lots of sunbeds and open for use even late in the evenings. Rooms come in all different shapes and sizes and while not ultra modern were definitely cosy and functional. There was a/c and mini fridges in all the rooms. The food was of excellent quality with lots of different choices catering for all kinds of allergies etc We opted for continental breakfast with added savoury choices and there was always plenty to eat. Evening meals were served restaurant style and the service was very efficient and professional even with 180 people. We used the facilities of the meeting room which were of excellent quality and size and the the chairs were super comfortable. What made our stay extra special were the staff led by manager Giorgio who were always ready to solve any small problems and were courteous and friendly. Elio and Sofia at reception were also amazingly kind and helpful. All in all I would definitely reccommend Fortuna Resort if you are organizing an event.

Excellent hotel, very welcoming and relaxed place to stay, stayed as part of holiday with Leger. Room very comfortable and spotless. Food excellent they catered for everyone, being vegetarian the food was fantastic. They also catered for gluten free which was brilliant. All staff were very welcoming. Special thanks to the waiting on staff in the restaurant and Bar. Hopefully get to come back one day such a special hotel
