Peak Edge Hotel

Absolutely a wonderful Hotel to stay at… staff very pleasant (receptionist was very welcoming and helpful👍) the room (superior double) was spacious and the bed was big and extremely comfy. Lovely and quiet at night. 👍 We booked direct with the Hotel ( see websites also) as they had better deals than booking with other online booking portals. Everything in the room from mini bar stocked with payable drinks, (bottle water free) kettle, coffee pod machine, coffee, tea & hot chocolate with a few packets of biscuits and fresh milk 👏👏 iron & hairdryer. Bathroom had a large bath and separate shower area with soft towels and toiletries. Evening meal was in the adjacent restaurant The Red Lion. Which we booked with the receptionist when booking the Hotel. Amazing menu and restaurant was stunning. Fantastic chefs for flavour of food 👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Breakfast was in the same restaurant, so much to choose from fresh fruit, pastries, toast & Jams and a lovely selection of cooked breakfast to full English, different variations of eggs, pancakes, avocado on sour bread… so much to choose from it was all of good portion and extremely tasty. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The whole Hotel was very clean and inviting- the bar area was so relaxing with wood fires, this made the area very relaxing 🔥🍷 . Overall totally recommend this Hotel for location, food and comfort, we will be returning to enjoy again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ thank you everyone who works there - amazing 🤩

We had the best of times. Room perfect Dinning room / relaxing areas lovely. Staff all lovely, but one on the evening event bar. Charging everyone for double drinks (saw this 5+ times) claiming to have Miss heard. Apart from that all was 10/10. Definitely, be back again. Thank you.

Just enjoyed a wonderful one night stay at this hotel after visiting Chatsworth House, a twenty minute drive away. From a delightful welcome to sorrowful departure all staff were amazing and so friendly. Drinks in a very cozy bar in the evening but the absolute icing on the cake was the sumptuous breakfast served in a delightful dining room with lovely views. No boring bufffet here, a full locally sourced cooked breakfast is freshly prepared and served to you and it’s fabulous. Would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed for two nights with a group of friends. The hotel is beautiful and so tastefully decorated. The Christmas decorations were outstanding. Every member of staff that we encountered was absolutely wonderful - a smile , polite and very friendly. Our rooms were very spacious and inviting. We ate in the restaurant one evening. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and plenty of it! We would love to return for another short break in the summer. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others.

Class personified Amazing everytime we visit here and we always try to stay in the Chatsworth Suite which is our favourite x I cannot recommend this hotel enough a true hidden gem packed with inspirational interiors which normally costs me a fortune when we get back home 😂the staff in the hotel and restaurant are another level 👏can’t wait to get back!!

Perfect stay in the Hardwick Suite We had the best stay at Peak Edge. We stayed in the Hardwick suite which was perfect, huge comfy bed, comfy sofa and chairs, balcony window overlooking the lake. Heavily pregnant, I was looking forward to using the big bath which didn’t disappoint. Breakfast was excellent with a buffet and hot menu. We also dined at The Red Lion and the food and service were excellent. We were also offered the option of the food delivered as room service. Staff were very helpful. Close to Chatsworth house which was a nice place to visit before checking in. Would 100% recommend.
