What a dump. Stained linens, noisy 1970s style window a/c, hole in the closet wall for plumbing access, trim around shower door not completed, linen closet in bathroom half finished and the craziest of all - bathroom floor tile being held down by Philips head screw. How bad is that?

Hotel was not very clean. Front desk staff upon arrival were rude. No hot water the afternoon we checked in. When we entered the room, AC was set on 60 and the room was like a meat locker in terms of being way to cold.

This hotel is highly overpriced for the quality of the rooms. I paid over 310.00 for a room in Chesapeake. Ridiculous. 310.00+ is a price for a VERY nice room. This hotel offers rooms that feature tiles that are separated, dirty tiles in corners where the common mop doesn't go, old caulk, cheap shower heads and in my case a bed that very much felt like a bad mattress support by some springs and plywood. Without cutting open the mattress to find out why it felt this way, I can say it was not a great mattress. for a 300.00 room, you'd expect a nice bed. I can only think the price they charge is because there is very little competition in the area. I advise anyone looking for a room on Battlefield Blvd to keep looking or at least find a place not on Battlefield Blvd. After all, this hotel is NOT on the beach. I felt so violated to pay the price but I had been driving for more than 8 hours and desperately needed a place to sleep. On the britght side, there are a number of restaurants and Sams behind the hotel which give a visitor a few choices of where to eat.

Last minute visit with friends, Easy check in and check out with friendly staff. Maintenance staff particularly friendly around the hotel. Room was very clean and beds comfortable, good size and nice touch in the bathroom was a nail file which I needed. Breakfast range looked great except nothing there at 8am and I waited for a while everything empty. A lot of people Piling up takeaway boxes totally unfair.

Hotel was clean and cleaning staff very friendly and helpfully. Unfortunately the breakfast crew discriminated against color. Too bad so sad! I dint understand why this behavior occurs at a very nice hotel! All of the other staff have been friendly and helpful.
