Huge resort in a small, well kept town!
Our room was right on the bay and was clean and nice. The beds and pillows were super comfortable.
There is not a place for breakfast but if you go a little further south on the main road, there is a shopping center with a McDonalds (and a CVS and some other things)... We were in a hurry to get home so did not try any of the breakfast places that the desk clerk recommended.
The staff guy that checked us in was SUPER nice and helpful!

The property is very nice, but is currently having renovations. I believe these renovations will make the resort even better.

Excellent reception staff and our rooom was great, too. Fantastic spot with easy and walkable access to the town. Really good facilities, too.

It was a perfect last minute hotel switch. We left a horrible hotel to come here last second. Very accommodating.

I would not stay at this hotel. We had bugs in our room and on the mattress after the lights were turned out. We left and went to another hotel at 11:30 at night. Room was not clean and after we turned out the lights, my husband was bitten by bugs. We turned on the lights and there were about four little tiny tiny bugs crawing on the mattress and box spring. We told the front desk, left and went to another hotel. The manager was suppose to call me the next day, but he didn't . I called him and he said he was having an exterminator out and would call and let me know what he exterminator found. I never heard back from the manager. I called back three times and was told the manager was in a meeting and would get back with me. I still have not heard from him. They did not charge my credit card but have not ever returned my call.

Usually have a decent stay when I go to the Rod n Reel. Rooms have been comfortable and clean. I never see any rodents or bugs. Just make sure you check your credit card to make sure you don't get charged the incidental fee. A view is nice, but I don't usually visit to stare out the window.

This property is good but only if you can stay at a deep discount. You would be very disappointed if you paid the $600+ per night asking price. Staff were friendly and it is right on the bay, the rooms were clean but not worth the “retail” price IMO.

The work going on at the resort really cut into my enjoyment. Also I thought the lobby area could have been set up better. All the chairs closely arranged facing the fireplace without a fire going was not inviting.
The room was ok. The staff were helpful.
