We enjoyed our stay.

I'd like to start by saying, every employee I encountered during our stay 10-24-25--10-26-25 was helpful, courteous and cheerful.Front desk, check-in desk, maintenance and security personnel. Second, I wanted to bring to your attention the difficulty I had transporting my 89 yo disabled veteran dad from the lobby to our room. I got my dad to the elevator and up to the 2nd floor with no problem. I had to push dad's transport chair through a party of guests that was going on in the foyer above the atrium. I followed the signs to the room and found out after opening a door that there was another long hallway to go thru to get to the room. I followed the room numbers to our room that had two room numbers on it. I thought that was a little weird. I scanned the card and found myself in another foyer. I had GREAT difficulty keeping the door open in order to push dad's transport chair through the doorway. I had to drag one of the chairs to prop open the door. I then had to scan a second door to access our room. Once again having to drag a second chair into the room to prop the door open. Once I got dad into our room and settled, I returned to the car to retrieve our belongings. REPEAT all the above with a luggage truck. I informed the hotel that I needed a handicap accessible room when I made the reservation. Room 235 was FAR from being accessible with a disabled person. This situation may our stay very unpleasant and exhausting for me, also a senior citizen pushing my dad through all these obstacles.

Great stay This was my first time staying at this resort and it was very nice. Great staff, very clean, and good food in the restaurants.

We had the pleasure of staying here for 3 nights July 4th weekend. There was an issue with the kitchen at The Dock and we did not get our food because of a hour and a half back up . Mary overheard me talking to the front desk about it and was able to get us some food . She was so pleasant and kind . Other than that I can say the service at CBQ was hit and miss . Mr. George the chef seemed like he could use a little more help in the kitchen and they need someone to clean the table and empty the trash on a regular basis . 1936 food was pricey but delicious. The rooftop pool was amazing and the views from our room were wonderful. Housekeeping did great and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Overall even though they are under construction. I would recommend to others and we will definitely be back .
