I had an outstanding experience at Dorsett. I arrived in Chengdu super early in the morning from overseas. While checking in, I asked if it was possible to let me check in a little earlier than normal and the reception staff (English name ”Sunshine”) was graciously accommodating. However, while waiting in the lobby until my promised check-in time arrived, the front desk manager (English name ”Cinderella”) arrived at around 8:00 to start her shift. She saw me sitting in the lobby looking tired and immediately checked with her coworkers on my situation. Then she approached me, said that she found out about my situation from her staff and immediately checked me in, much before the official time. In addition, she upgraded me to a better room. It was quite a pleasant surprise. After a long international flight, I was able to relax in a very comfortable bed. I hope that employees like Cinderella are proactively appreciated by the management for their hard work and excellent service attitude and given more senior positions. She certainly deserves it. And I wish this level of service becomes a common occurrence everywhere. P.S: After I left the room to meet a friend, I came back to find fruits, plates and complementary Evian water laid out on the table for me Another pleasant surprise. The room heating may need an upgrade. Hope that is made stronger in the future. Definitely staying here again next time!

The sanitation is quite clean. The room is warm, spacious and large. The location of the hotel is very convenient, close to everything (highly recommended) The maids in the guest room are also very kind, The front desk girl is also very enthusiastic, Manager Xiao Wu is very understanding of the requirements, the communication is very pleasant, and the problem is solved very quickly. I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Crowne Plaza Chengdu, and overall, it was a very satisfying experience. The room itself was spacious, well-appointed, and offered all the amenities you'd expect from a hotel of this caliber. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of exploring Chengdu. The bathroom was clean and modern, with a great shower that had strong water pressure—a small detail that makes a big difference. One of the standout features of Crowne Plaza Chengdu is its excellent location. It’s situated right in the heart of the city, making it easy to access popular attractions, shopping centers, and restaurants. This convenience made my stay even more enjoyable, as I could easily walk or take a short ride to wherever I needed to go. The hotel's dining options were also impressive. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of both Western and Chinese dishes, ensuring that there was something for everyone. The quality of the food was high, and I particularly enjoyed the fresh pastries and local specialties. The facilities at Crowne Plaza Chengdu are top-notch. The fitness center was well-equipped, and the indoor pool was a great place to relax after a long day. I also appreciated the business center, which made it easy to catch up on work when needed. While the hotel is slightly older, it is well-maintained, and the charm of the classic design adds to the overall experience. In summary, Crowne Plaza Chengdu exceeded my expectations in terms of service, comfort, and convenience. It’s a great choice for both business and leisure travelers, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Chengdu.

We’re happy with the hotel services . The check in time normally is after 2pm, but we arrived early in the morning at 6:30am , they’ve kindly allowing us to check in and we’d a good rest . In addition, allowed us to checkout at 2pm as our flight was 6:30pm. The staff are helpful and friendly, they directed us to take airport bus which’s only RMB30/pax vs cab RMB200+. Great location easily accessible to shops, restaurants and public transportation. Highly recommended, will definitely come back to this hotel for our next trip.

Toilet shower better have door so when showering water won't wet the floor and washing basing can be bigger more better. Laundry no Aircon Abit hot .carpet for my room see a bit dirty. Besides that all is very perfect.

I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. The front desk Tina and Lena gave me very detail service and upgraded my room with no extra charge. The room was very clean. They provided detail service. Highly recommend you try them out. I gave a five stars!

JW Marriott Chengdu hotel has exceeded our expectations. The Executive Club Lounge was a relaxing, welcoming space with polite and hard-working staff. We found the hotel’s central location ideal for exploring Chengdu. We ordered room service on the first night. The Dan Dan noodles with minced pork and vegetables, as well as the fried rice were exceptional. We love the overall service persons especially the concierge staff who helped us booked for taxis quickly and took care of the directions. Highly recommended for any foreign visitors

After comparing the reviews with my friends,we chose this hotel. When we arrived at the lobby, it was bright and spacious. We were greeted by a staff member as soon as we entered. Every staff member was smiling and enthusiastic. The overall experience was very good. There was also a butler who added WeChat when we checked in. He would care about and greet us every day. If we needed anything, we could contact him at any time. It was very convenient. In addition, we were given welcome fruit. Next time we come to Chengdu, we will choose to stay here again.
