The Dongda Minyoun is an excellent hotel. My room was exquisite - truly the height of luxury and modernity. And those views of Chengdu - wow! I'll offer one piece of constructive criticism for the hotel - the food isn't great. I was pretty underwhelmed by the breakfasts there. However, this really isn't a big deal, as there are literally thousands of excellent restaurants in Chengdu, so it wasn't an issue. Overall, I'd give my stay a perfect score - the room was gorgeous, the views are amazing, and the staff was very helpful and patient.

Great stay. Great location in the center of everything. Room was clean and modern. We ended up taking Didi since it was a bit of a walk to the metro (7-10 min) with toddlers and the grandparents. My parents had the standard room, view was not great so mostly closed the curtains. They gave us a complimentary upgraded view so we could all be on the same floor and it was very nice. They had a robot for food deliveries which the kids loved.

Location is very good, very near Tian Fu Subway and the underground mall.. also near to Chun Xi Road and there are tons of eateries nearby. You can walk to Peoples Garden for tea and also to the local market nearby, to infuse the local daily lifestyle. If we come back to Cheng Du again , I will stay at this hotel again.. This is a great hotel. When checking in, the hotel staff allowed me to see multiple rooms and choose the one I liked best. I also had some trouble receiving packages from Taobao which they helped me with. Super responsive over Wechat and went above and beyond. Specifically recommend Li Cong at the front desk. Also, the free drink at the Whisky Bar is nice as the bar is lively and has great drinks. The room and hotel grounds were very well maintained and full of character. Highly recommend for Chinese speaking foreigners!

This hotel was a little confusing to find because it's right next to another hotel and they have elevators side by side in what seems to be the same building, but the doorman was able to assist me in going to the right place and up to the 37th floor check in.
Great location - a very short walk away from Taikooli area and near a lot of great restaurants and cafes. clean and comfortable room with a nice smart toilet.
Bilingual staff also helped me order a courier to send my bottles of wine that I had bought at an event in Chengdu back to Beijing, so great service and convenience. At the end of my stay, they even offered a gift of either a cute panda bag, tea or coffee! I chose the coffee because I drink it daily, but the panda bag would definitely be a great souvenir.
Highly recommend if you need a hotel in the bustling Taikooli area and want an upscale experience at a fairly budget-friendly price.

Beautiful hotel!! The staff were so helpful and friendly. One of the staff members even let us use his phone number to order food because we did not have a Chinese number. It is a very short walk to the station and they have a convenient location for pick up/drop off if you want to take a DiDi or taxi. The room was very clean and the view was beautiful. It was also sound proofed very well.

We arrived at the hotel at 1 a.m. Thanks to the warm reception of Su Nuanyang, the service specialist at the front desk. We booked 2 rooms for 3 nights. He not only helped to upgrade the rooms but also patiently introduced the hotel facilities and services. I give him a big thumbs up! The children's room wanted to set up a tent, and the hotel also actively cooperated. Thank you very much! The location of the hotel is OK. It is not far from Jianshe Road and ifs. There are many small restaurants downstairs to try. But the hotel breakfast is average, with few varieties and less meat food. Hope it will be improved!

The front desk as well as other service staff provided splendid service to make us feel at home right from the start to the very end of our stay! Would especially like to commend front desk staff Angela for her help making us feel right at home during our check in.
Will also like to commend the uncle from the supplies dept for troubleshooting the HDMI connectivity from my laptop to the room TV. He left us a direct HDMI cable for direct connection to the TV when we found the wall HDMI socket to be not working.
Will definitely come back to stay here again when there's another concert nearby!

MMkjhgThis stay at the Chengdu Louis Castle Qingtong Hotel really brought me too many surprises and touched me, and made me deeply feel what it means to feel at home.
From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was infected by the enthusiasm of the staff. When checking in, their professionalism and efficiency were impressive, and the sincere smile was like a spring breeze, instantly eliminating my fatigue from the journey.
After entering the room, I found that the hotel room was clean and bright, with complete facilities and equipment, a retro and generous decoration style, soft and clean bedding, and a good sleep. Air conditioning, TV, Wi-Fi and other equipment are complete and easy to use, and the sound insulation effect is also great, completely free from external interference.
During the entire stay, whether it was the warm reception of Happy
Bi and Iy
at the front desk, or the thoughtful and meticulous room service, I felt the hotel staff's persistent pursuit of service quality. They always appear in time when I need them, solve problems for me with smiles and actions, and make me feel comfortable and at ease every moment here.
This hotel interprets what is true quality service. It not only provides a place to stay, but also creates a home full of warmth and care for guests. I will not hesitate to recommend this hotel to my friends, because I believe that they will also feel the same beauty and warmth here. Looking forward to meeting you next time

JJaneyyy89This resort is nothing short of amazing and I would definitely rate this resort 10/10! I have a young toddler aged 18MO & elderly parents above 70YO during this stay and we absolutely loved our stay here. Value-for-money (we stayed during off-peak season, weekday, about RMB1000/night for our original room type), relatively new, clean & big rooms.
Some noteworthy details:
- Service is top-notched. Staff were friendly & very helpful. We could see that they really put in their heart into the work they do. They even gave our little one a panda toy & she loves it - a really nice gesture by the resort.
- The resort is located at Jintang, a hot spring precinct. With Trip.com, we booked the hotel bundle/package and it was fantastic. The key items in the package include:
(a) A free strawberry picking experience at a nearby humble farm called 许姐草莓采摘. Each booking entitles you to 500g worth of strawberries (transport at own expense, only about RMB10 by Didi). The strawberries were big and juicy, we were lucky cos they are in season now!
(b) 40-min Himalayan Salt Therapy/Bath for 1 pax/room
(c) Outdoor hot spring experience for the whole family (my 18MO loves it too!). There are many pools to choose from & we could find one which was not too hot for our baby. This is otherwise chargeable from RMB228/pax to RMB468/family of 2A1C.
(d) Bicycle rental, but we didn’t try it as it was too cold.
- Resort looks amazing, both indoors & outdoors! There were a number of activities for children to enjoy too but our naughty one is too young to appreciate it. Older kids will love them.
- We also loved the hotel’s concept of having complimentary bottles of distilled water etc. which is really important to us as we needed a lot of water for our baby’s food. This meant that that we did not have to go to the trouble of finding a supermarket, which is quite a distance away.
- We managed to snag a free upgrade to a Spring 2-Bedroom Villa due to our Accor Gold membership & it’s low peak season. All villas come with private pool - ours was available both on L1 & L2.
- Hotel uses quality furnishing & Toto toilet, definitely a plus. Water pressure is great too.
- We had all our meals at L’Orange as there are no nearby eateries & our time is limited due to our baby. The steamboat set is pricey but highly recommended! The fish & lamb meat (can be changed to beef at diner’s request) were fresh & really good. We liked all the other meat dishes too except for the dumplings. If you have Accor Plus membership, the usual discounts are available too. The hotel breakfast is also at the same restaurant. Breakfast selection was good even though there were not many guests.
Areas of improvement:
- Resort was able to provide a baby cot for our 18MO. However, the mattress was a little hard & the cot was creaky, it kept our baby awake.
- The air-con ventilation vents are directly above the baby cot and it became too cold for our baby in the middle of the night. Couldn’t adjust the temperature no matter what. The staff managed to made it warmer the following night but it resulted in some loud noises, probably issues with the damper.
- Rooms can be a little cleaner (e.g we saw dust balls on the floor).

On the first day, I felt that the room was too hot. Before checking in the next day, I contacted us about the check-in time and kept the room cool in advance. This time, my companion caught a cold. We asked about his concern and helped him to cook ginger soup.
In addition, the two masters in the concierge department are very polite and greet people with a smile.
One of them, Timwang (Wang Bing), was speechless..

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in Wenmaifang, with a very good internal environment and quiet in a busy area. There were not many people going to the hotel that day. Thanks to the front desk lady for upgrading our room for free. The room is beautiful and practical. The whole room is clean, tidy and comfortable. The facilities are complete. There is a small courtyard in front and back. It is too far to sit in the courtyard to drink tea and chat. There was a problem with the TV when checking in, and the service staff responded and solved it quickly. The hotel is convenient for travel. You can find local food at each exit of Wenmaifang, and there are also many delicious foods to choose from in Wenmaifang. The hotel has a complete variety of breakfast, and some dishes taste okay. The only thing that needs to be improved is that the hot dishes in the hotel are not heated and kept warm, and they are a bit cold when eaten. Some foods do not have brand names, and it is not clear what food they are. If you want to visit Qionglai next time, you will definitely choose this hotel.

JjcsjtuThe location of Crowne Plaza Chengdu Wenjiang is a little off the beaten track and far from the subway station, but it is right next to Jiang'an River and is located in Hot Spring Recreation City, with a good environment.
The hotel has good hardware facilities and a beautiful appearance. There is a 25-meter indoor swimming pool with good conditions and services. The hotel's software and services are also up to standard. The beauties at the front desk are warm and thoughtful, and the reception is warm. The room is spacious and well-planned, with separate basins, toilets, showers and bathtubs. The supplies in the room are of good quality, and pajamas, towels, sheets, pillows and other bedding are all comfortable. Mineral water is basically free to drink.
The breakfast is very good, with a rich variety of both Chinese and Western food. The downside is that the breakfast is located in the lobby, the air conditioning is not enough, and it feels cold.
Overall, the overall service quality of this hotel is good and worth experiencing.

There’s also a few new malls just right behind the hotel & the famous mall probably a few kilometres away only . Highly recommend this place 🩷👍🏻👍🏻 and the breakfast porridge was bussin 😂

The room itself was spacious, well-appointed, and offered all the amenities you'd expect from a hotel of this caliber. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of exploring Chengdu. The bathroom was clean and modern, with a great shower that had strong water pressure—a small detail that makes a big difference.
One of the standout features of Crowne Plaza Chengdu is its excellent location. It’s situated right in the heart of the city, making it easy to access popular attractions, shopping centers, and restaurants. This convenience made my stay even more enjoyable, as I could easily walk or take a short ride to wherever I needed to go.
The hotel's dining options were also impressive. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of both Western and Chinese dishes, ensuring that there was something for everyone. The quality of the food was high, and I particularly enjoyed the fresh pastries and local specialties.

GGuest UserThe hotel has an excellent location within walking distance (an easy 25 minute stroll) of Tianfu Square, the Chengdu Museum, Chengdu Library and the Science and Technology Museum. It also has a metro station next to its entrance offering metro line 1 which takes one directly to quite a few landmarks for a mere 2 yuan. Didis and taxis are also easy to book or flag down in that location. The reception staff are generally helpful but special mention must be made of the outstanding concierge division : Cloudy and Cinderella are particularly congenial and deserve high praise. The one drawback is the breakfast room which can be very chaotic during peak hours, especially when large coach tours arrive.
