My family and I stayed here for 2 nights. We reached early and was allowed for early check-in. The staffs were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was sent to your doorstep at an agreed timing. I absolutely love the small little touch of hand-written greetings card. Overall, we had an amazing experience staying at Return Courtyard and will definitely come back if we are in Chengdu next time. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful.

The service was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful — always going above and beyond for the guests. Everything was well-organized and professional from check-in to check-out. The breakfast was especially delicious and offered a good variety. Overall, a wonderful experience. I’d definitely come back again if I have the chance!

My first review on Trip and its bcus of Return courtyard! They are truly deserving of this. Stayed in 3 different hotels this trip in Chengdu & Chongqing and Return is truly the one that left the deepest impression, albeit it being the shortest stay of the entire trip. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The service was seamless and attentive, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Every interaction felt warm, thoughtful, and caring. The food was absolutely delicious, with every meal prepared to perfection. We left with wonderful memories and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at this beautifully designed hotel, full of character and charm. It’s a traditional “siheyuan” (courtyard house) but with a modern twist, featuring an advanced smart home system that blends seamlessly with its historic aesthetic. Given that the hotel just opened in 2024 and has only 16 rooms, securing a booking can be a bit challenging—but it’s absolutely worth it. The intimate size ensures personalized service and the staff were exceptionally helpful and thoughtful throughout my stay. Staying here offers a rare opportunity to experience the comfort and elegance of a siheyuan, something you’d be hard-pressed to find outside of China. The unique design, combined with modern conveniences, made my stay truly memorable. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning!

Front desk staff were amazing! They were super friendly and helpful throughout the whole stay. They even helped us with our luggage issues after checking out, which we really appreciated! The hotel was nice and clean and we really enjoyed our stay, would definitely stay here again

Our experience at Return hotel was nothing short of amazing! Right from the check in to check out, the staff was very friendly and helpful when it came to answering our questions, especially 皮皮 who was so caring towards us throughout our whole stay. The room we got was super clean and beautiful as well! We will definitely stay here if we have the chance to come to Chengdu again! :)

Beautiful hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Return Courtyard. Simple, fuss-free and service is tip-top. Breakfast is served daily to your room. Location is very convenient with many eateries and convenient stores around the hotel. We will definitely book again on our next trip to Chengdu. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

The resort is excellent in location and services. The date was my wife birthday, after knowing by the staff, they help me to decorate the room with a free birthday cake. Every day breakfast is different kind of foods. The room is spacious and clean. The staff is very helpful and attended all our needs.

Service was impeccable, breakfast was an overkill in the best way every morning, towels are definitely clean as they use disposable ones, location is easy to travel around. Celebrated my birthday here and they went all out decorating the space as a little extra touch which was greatly appreciated.

As one of the few courtyard forest view hotels on Chunxi Road in Chengdu, we are far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. You will be accompanied by birds in the sky, crickets in the grass and fish in the pond. You can look up at the blue sky and stars that you haven't seen for a long time. You can live and travel here. We look forward to your arrival, to relieve your fatigue and find your original self...

Excellent hotel with exceptional quality and great accessibility at the heart of Chengdu! Walkable distance to Chunxi street, Taiguli, and the airport bus stop. We stayed at the executive suite and the room was actually way better & larger than the photos! All the staffs were friendly and helpful, and to foreigners who can barely speak Chinese they truly were our guardian angels ;) We'd definitely stay here again if we have a chance to revisit Chengdu. Highly recommended. P.S. Do opt-in room service breakfast, you won't regret it.

Beautiful rooms with unique features for each room. Helpful butler service, very responsive and efficient. Breakfast served in room. Generally quite tasty. Only issue is the disposable towels, not comfy to use and felt very environmental unfriendly.

I found this hotel thru map browsing on trip.com and I was very please with my stay. I book sky room which was beyond my expectation. The room was spacious & clean. But on top of it all is the service, I can’t thank the staff enough, they are all so kind & helpful. Breakfast was amazing and I really appreciate every details of service, super ontime on their breakfast delivery too. We left for Jiuzhaigou for 3 days and return for our luggages that has been well taken care of. I feel blessed that I found this hotel, as the name of this hotel. I will for sure RETURN & recommend this hotel to my friends & family ❤️

We originally booked a big brand hotel, but the moment we saw photos of Return Courtyard, we switched immediately & we’re so glad we did! The hotel absolutely did not disappoint. We stayed in a beautiful tatami-style room that comfortably fit four of us. The beds were cozy, and the bathroom was modern and spotless (yes it even has a bidet!). The real highlight? Breakfast. Delivered right to your room at your preferred time, and honestly, it lives up to the hype! Delicious and thoughtfully presented. The staff were another standout. Super friendly and always quick to respond: they even add you on WeChat to make communication easy. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: just minutes from the vibrant Chunxi Road, with a Lawson right across the street and tons of great food spots all around. It’s a cozy, charming stay that makes you feel at home. Highly recommend and would 100% return!
