Ibis Chennai Sipcot

Great place to stay and all the rooms were neatly maintained. The price was also really affordable. I got a room for 2.8k and it had all the amenities. Just go for it!

Reception stuff weren’t the friendliest, only 1 staff was warm and smiley when requesting you for review your at the end (seems quite practical).  We checked in at 8pm due to an afternoon flight, so there shouldn’t be any reasons why the hotel room isn’t properly cleaned. The room only had 1 set of everything  (drinking water, drinking glass, clothes hanger, vanity kit, towel, no slippers) when we were two guests and we had to separately request for these, which is fine. The shower gel was already empty when one of us went to wash up first, took them a while to come back with the refill. Toilet paper was also super low and didn’t look changed or tidied (no triangle fold). Space was moderate, cleanliness was questionable. The toilet bowl had some uncleaned poop stain, shower head has strange filth sticking from where the water flow out from. Safe in wardrobe was faulty, turns out it’s low on battery and the technician only came at 11pm+ despite us reporting about it shortly after we entered our room at 8pm+. Bed was too soft (in the bad way?), sheets weren’t in the best condition. Towels were white-turned-GREY, looking very, very used.  Didnt have the best or most decent stay, and also didn’t expect this for a hotel under Accor. The only plus point is how it’s further in from entrance, which feels a bit more private and safe, though getting Ubers was inconvenient as the pick up always changes to Novotel for some reason.

Stay was pleasant. Service was good. Did not try their food. Overall good and will recommend to others.

Perfect location for IT goers at Sipcot it park at omr. Great room service throughout the stay. Food is very good. Tina the receptionist , is the only polite lady and she does her job amazingly well. She is courteous and very approachable for help. Ibis sipcot is very much preferred place to have your long stays for business purpose. Rupesh was very polite and humble in providing room services too. Cleanliness is at its best. Quick check-in and check-out process. Breakfast and service was wonderful. Nabaj and Pithambish take care of everybody with great affection and they are polite and very efficient folks at the live service counter. Food at Ibis Sipcot location is good as far as breakfast is concerned. In-house restaurant food is above average and expensive. You have good options outside, around the hotel for other delicacies. A long run of 42 days of stay at this hotel, Daily breakfast spreads was amazing, staff is polite, efficient and very approachable not just for a day ot two, but throughout. That tells you they are so well trained and so well mannered. Couldn't expect more Consistency than this, nor can you achieve beyond this. Only thing is, most of the reception staff is cold at times. This hotel is ideal for ITgoers, or visits to OMR region. Takes around 90mins to reach airport from the hotel at max, at usual times. Cognizant office: 2.2kms _ Walkable, shared transport or convenient cabs. TCS campus: 1.6kms. I preferred cycling to the office daily. Ambur Star Biryani: 2kms Nandana Restaurant: 50mtrs Zaitoon Restaurant: 2kms Food street: 2kms Dominoes: 30mtrs, opp to hotel. Cafe Coffee Day: 200 Mars, opp to hotel. Thalassarey Restaurant: 250 mtrs, walkable. Marina Mall : 800mtrs Decathlon, Inox, kids zone, Lifestyle, BBQ nation, and many more inside MarinNation, Intercity buses to stop here just 50 mtrs away, opp to the hotel, often heading to Hyd, Bangalore, Palakad and Pondicherry. Overall, Loved it, IBIS hotel - sipcot will always be my first choice, in this region (Siruseri/Sipcot, Chennai). Thank you again, Ibis Team. Wish you all Good Health and Good luck.
