Peacefully experience

Reception stuff weren’t the friendliest, only 1 staff was warm and smiley when requesting you for review your at the end (seems quite practical).  We checked in at 8pm due to an afternoon flight, so there shouldn’t be any reasons why the hotel room isn’t properly cleaned. The room only had 1 set of everything  (drinking water, drinking glass, clothes hanger, vanity kit, towel, no slippers) when we were two guests and we had to separately request for these, which is fine. The shower gel was already empty when one of us went to wash up first, took them a while to come back with the refill. Toilet paper was also super low and didn’t look changed or tidied (no triangle fold). Space was moderate, cleanliness was questionable. The toilet bowl had some uncleaned poop stain, shower head has strange filth sticking from where the water flow out from. Safe in wardrobe was faulty, turns out it’s low on battery and the technician only came at 11pm+ despite us reporting about it shortly after we entered our room at 8pm+. Bed was too soft (in the bad way?), sheets weren’t in the best condition. Towels were white-turned-GREY, looking very, very used.  Didnt have the best or most decent stay, and also didn’t expect this for a hotel under Accor. The only plus point is how it’s further in from entrance, which feels a bit more private and safe, though getting Ubers was inconvenient as the pick up always changes to Novotel for some reason.

Stay was pleasant. Service was good. Did not try their food. Overall good and will recommend to others.

Stayed here for 4 nights for a stupid work trip and never could I imagine the horror. The rooms are small, dingy and the beds had stains on them. Bathroom had laterine stains on the pot, and stank. The walls are musty, peeling and the toiletries also smell of some weird chemical. The towels were so aged they were ash grey and stained. On day 3, my room was full of mosquitos and the AC wasn't working. I sweated all night and when the engineer was called he said it's set to 24 and can't change. When I fussed the next morning, they said they'll fix it. I came after work at 6 PM and the room door was ajar, roof opened up, luggage left unattended and no person present. After a ruckus, they gave me a room on the same floor that smelled of wet cigarettes and AC again wasn't working. After 2 hours they finally moved me to another floor where the AC was working. Assumably they reserve the functional floors for their night staff to rest in, cus it had a weird marking at the open / close door that wasn't there in the other rooms. Food is cheap and semi decent if it's room service. Breakfast was horrible and the cold poha and hard boiled potatoes gave me a stomach flu the same day after which I didn't touch their meals. The front staff is apologetic but their sincerity can't make up for the pathetic rubbish that Ibis sipcot is. If you're a discerning traveler, DO NOT stay here. If 3 stars are what you usually stay, still don't stay here.
