Quality Inn & Suites Binghamton Vestal

We Asked for the room to be changed from smoking to non smoking ( we reservation was made through a third party ) The front desk person told us that we don’t understand the policy and procedure. But he failed to explain them to us. When we asked for his name he said since we asked for his name we are not getting a room all together. As we left he screamed good bye to us in Spanish. This hotel needs to have psychological evaluations for the employees!!

Unfortunately, this was the only hotel available as we were returning from a trip to Canada. Also unfortunate was the fact they jacked up the rates for an event in town that weekend. This room was under $100 2 days earlier, then over $220 because it was freshman orientation at the university that weekend. Price gouging at its finest. First problem was that almost all security lighting in the parking lot was out. That should have been our first clue. Second, the desk clerk was barely interested in getting us checked in. Once in the room, we knew it was going to be a long night. The A/C unit rattled like a freight train. Not an exaggeration. It was LOUD! So I spent the night turning it off to get some quiet sleep only to wake up sweating, then having to turn it back on. After that comes the mold in the shower and urine splash on the floor near the toilet. Needless to say, don't walk around barefoot. The exterior doors did not lock at all at night. The bed had no support and I sank in it like a bowl of pudding. My back is still complaining I could go on, but you get the idea. Avoid this dump

This was an unpleasant experience for what was meant to be a family weekend visit with our SUNY Binghamton student. The front desk evening coverage 8pm was only one person who had no authority to make decisions and assist. He asked us to bring it up to the manger in the morning . The room was dirty, toilet was broken just to name a few things. We decided to absorb the cost and leave that night and found nice a room elsewhere

The condition of our room was totally disgusting. Towels were dirty, sheets had holes and pillowcases looked like they had something growing on them. Shower/tub was gross. There was a used toothbrush and food on the carpet. An outlet had been opened up to wire a lamp directly into it, which I am sure would be a safety violation.

Not satisfied with this choice. This hotel needs upgrading, very outdated. Was not very clean, stains on carpets and curtains.The toilet wouldn't flush properly, I was told where I could find a plunger and service was not offered. Breakfast was minimally. Wouldn't stay here again.

The tile on the ceiling was loose and hanging down over the bathtub. The bathtub was dirty. There was a distinct musty smell. It was bad enough that we ended up booking a different hotel to stay in instead of spending the night there.
