I went on a business trip to Taichung and found a cost-effective hotel. After getting off the high-speed rail station, I took bus No. 161 from the bus station and walked to the hotel in less than 10 minutes. There is a self-service machine on the first floor for check-in, and the service staff is very friendly. There is a small refrigerator in the room, but there is no bottled water. There is a water dispenser in the corridor where you can take a kettle to fill it.

Environment: It takes 20 minutes to walk to Fengjia Night Market.
There are construction sites around, and the sound insulation of the room windows is not very good. I was woken up by the construction noise before 8 o'clock in the morning.
There is a convenience store near the hotel, which is convenient.
The cost-effectiveness is good.

The hotel is not as close to Fengjia Night Market as expected. The overall environment is clean, but the check-in time is not very friendly. Self-service check-in and check-out is not a problem, but it is a bit troublesome that you often cannot find staff when making inquiries.
The room we were arranged in was inexplicably light-transmitting, and there were no curtains to cover it. If we wanted to sleep in a little later in the morning, we would be woken up by the sunlight. (The picture was taken at around 8am by the bed)

Clean hotel with great staff located at a good location. Appreciate the daily bar snacks they put out with traditional ********* snacks and drinks. They also have an area showcasing the different attractions near the hotel which is a much appreciated touch. Will stay here again if I visit the area!

Geographical location to the bus station and MRT has a little distance, but acceptable, also because of this will not be noisy, room environment, hygiene ￼good, ￼has enough space to place and ￼open luggage ￼, can also ask to clean the room every day, but the service staff is too careful, my little toothbrush is also thrown away

Check-in Hotel Taichung Freedom Branch…There are convenience stores, breakfast shops, and bus stops nearby! The transportation is very convenient. Check-in is self-service and luggage storage is available

It’s been once of the best experiences ever. I had booked a single room for 3 nights. Since the air conditioning ( central one so couldn’t turn it off) was too loud for me I couldn’t sleep for the whole night. The next day, I told them and they gave me a big room ( where I couldn’t turn it off) since they had one left. The third night as they had no other available rooms they refunded the last night room. Thank you so much for your kindness and support !!!  I really appreciate it!!

Clean, functional room. No water bottles nor toothbrush as per gov policy, but has slippers and hair dryer. Toilet has no solid door, note if not a solo traveler. Friendly staff. Located in a nice and quiet neighborhood, walking distance to 1914 huashan culture park; about 12min walking from shandao subway stop.
