The staffing was a bit hit and miss and we found it difficult to even access the main building as the door was locked. They won’t let you park in the front car park at all for some reason? Beds were comfy and room clean however the curtains didn’t fit the windows and it was noisy from the road . Bathroom all new . We missed breakfast so can’t comment For the money this was ok but could have been better

Breakfast wasn’t great. Bacon was rock hard, fried egg had been obviously sat there for a while as it was hard too

My mum and I had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous hotel. It’s set around a beautiful, tranquil courtyard garden with a Koi fishpond. The room was lovely, clean, fresh and quiet. The owner is adorable, friendly and couldn’t do enough to accommodate us including a last minute room change to a family room. I will definitely be staying here again. If I could give you 10*s, I would. Congratulations on a perfect hotel.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights as part of a wee road trip to visit a few theme parks with Alton towers being one, we had stayed here in 2008 when we went to Alton and booked again as we remembered the lovely courtyard with the pond etc. from check in to check out it was a very Pleasant stay, the fella at reception (sorry I didn’t catch your name, we were the couple in room 12) was very friendly and attentive, he also served us breakfast which was great, the room was spotless and a great size. I wish the manor all the best for the future and look forward to visiting again in the future. Cheers Bryan.

We stayed 2 nights in a 2nd floor room over looking the courtyard.
The staff were all very welcoming & friendly.
The breakfast had a good variety, nice and hot & cooked well which is not always the case for buffet style breakfasts.
The location is good for the Peak District.
Plenty of parking & although due to weather we were not able to enjoy it, the outside area was very pretty.
The bathroom could benefit from a little work. Overall Good Location, welcome staff, excellent breakfast.
