Quality Inn Charleston - West Ashley

The room was clean. The only thing I found wrong is housekeeping left a stained roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. It had some greenish stains on it. Other than that, we’ve enjoyed our stay.

Stayed three nights at this hotel in May, 2023. Asked for a room on the quieter side of the hotel, never once heard a single sound the entire three nights. Had a free breakfast, which we took advantage of each morning. The hotel is very close to the interstate to go to Charleston, Savannah, Myrtle Beach. We would for sure stay at this hotel again any time we are in the area.

Ok, at check-in they entered my information on the computer. THEN he pulled out a form and had to RE-Enter my information on paper which I had to sign. I asked him about it and he said he's required to do it. I told him it's 2022 ya know.... The room at first glance looked fine. But when I got in the bed, the nightstand had white "STUFF" that had ran down the side of it. Not sure what spilled, but it was nasty. The entire room also smelled like MOLD. I could feel my chest getting tight. I almost asked for a new room, but figured they would all be the same. I was only there for a few hours, so ****** it up. Also the Sliding Lock on the door was broken. The Bath tub had Black Mold on it. There was also an Ironing Board with no Ironing board cover on it. How can I use it? This whole hotel is unsafe in my opinion and I will not be staying here again. It's clear the ownership does not care about this property.

Awful place to stay. The breakfast was more than disappointing. No juices or cold water. No butter. No napkins. No fruit. Not much at all. Never again. Quality inn shouldn’t get any good ratings. The front desk girl that checked us in was super. She was only good thing. It was only one that had rooms. I see why!!

1. Hole in the ceiling in the bathroom. 2. Lamp was missing lamp shade. 3. Gap in wall around light switch. 4. Piece missing from bathroom fan cover. 5. Bath filthy 6. No elevator 7. Generally very run down property. We left after inspecting the room. Front desk clerk was not willing to refund our payment.

Quality Inn Charleston - West Ashley on Savannah Highway in Charleston is a nice place to stay for a good value when you are in the area and need it. The location is very convenient from most of the area. The staff here is very accommodating and makes sure that you have everything that you need for the best stay.
