The hotel is very pretty, the staff was friendly. Location is perfect, close to almost everything. I didn’t need to rent a car. The food at the little palm was just ok, I suggest going to Fig across the street. It’s pricey but better food. My biggest complaint is that they charged me $45 a day for amenities without telling me. They told me they hold $100 a day for incidentals but the front desk never disclosed these guarantees charges. I didn’t know about it until I received my receipt via email. So if you have a car then I’m sure you’ll get charged almost $200 extra a day.

Great Experience, the location was great, aesthetic even better, and service better than that! Can't wait to come back again, the pool is perfect for families and groups and friends and the restaurant Little Palm was such a a vibe! Great tropical menu in the world full of Southern food. 10/10 recommend

Absolute Gem!!! From our check in with Sanford to Fabian in Housekeeping who helped make our stay fantastic. The chicken and waffles at Little Palm were so good I had them both days for breakfast. The pool and loungers were so nice and perfect for the hot afternoons. The ambience & decor at the pool and bars is really cute, think modern Palm Springs California! Rooms are comfy & very clean (low ceilings). The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring all of Charleston and steps from shopping on King Street and the Market! This place has the best staff & vibe is just fun!

A perfect hotel for a mini honeymoon! The pool and Little Palm were adorable, rooms were perfect, and everyone of the staff members were so kind and helpful! Parking was a little challenging but there is a paid parking garage near by. A great location - walking distance to bars, restaurants, and all that downtown Charleston has to offer!

My fiancé and I stayed at the Ryder Hotel in Charleston. We had no plans for our few days here. We walked down to the hotel bar, The Little Palm, and we absolutely loved it. The vibes, atmosphere, and decor were absolutely amazing. Their drinks were soooooo good. Eric and Will made us incredible cocktails. We ordered espresso martinis and a few special cocktails. We came back every night during our stay here. 10/10 recommend!

On positive side this tends boutique hoteliswelllocatedon Meeting Street in Charleston within walking distance of many sites. Unfortunately many negatives thatleftmewith the feelingthatthey were trying to scam me. when I arrived there was no valet.My companion had together out of the cr to search for him. Cost of valet is in excess of $55/nite.When we check-out 5 days later we were charged for5days of valet instead of one.!! This is a pet friendly hotel.When we got tour room the smell of ammonia was overpowering.. Were moved at our request to a king room astray had no room with 2 queens. They said they wiped move us the next day but never contacted us. When I asked about move they said had no rooms. When I asked about rebate as our room was now cheaper they initially said they could not refund (after arguing they finally did. Several other issues in bait and with variety. Most of staff were student interns. I do not recommend this hotel

We don’t know where to go, it was our first time here and we stayed at the Ryder Hotel. Bella was our waitress, she was the best service we’ve had so far and at most amazing outdoor bar/restaurant!!

Bella was amazing. Bar and pool are super cute with a fun vibe. Bella is quick with the drinks and great service. Highly reccomend this bar and the fun vibe!
