This hotel was in a nice location and the view of the shipyard was an added bonus. There have been some updates and the breakfast was awesome.

Good place to stay just 5 minutes drive to downtown Charleston clean and quiet staff are very friendly.

We booked this hotel (room 326) for a three night stay and discovered large patches of visible black mold on wall behind couch and ottoman and also on the ottoman fabric. We then looked around the room very closely with a flashlight and found mold in the ceiling and in the corners of the walls. We requested a room change. The front desk person helping us said the two managers would be in on Monday morning around 9am and would contact me. I have never heard from anyone at the hotel to this day. I reported this hotel to Marriott Bonvoy Customer Service and they are investigating and I also reported the hotel to the SC Attorney General's Office for investigation. Warning - if you are worried about black mold, don't book here.

This hotel offers great views from every room. It is clean and has a great breakfast. Parking is free and covered section is available. It is close to all the attractions in downtown. This quiet hotel is surrounded by water and a great area of town. I will definitely stay here again!
