Clarion Hotel Charlecote Pheasant

Originally booked in for three nights extended it to five, would have been longer but they are fully booked. Nice clean room in a good location, friendly and helpful staff, will be returning. Nice Sunday roast yesterday evening enjoyed it very much.

We stayed in a classic double room which was very spacious, clean and comfortable, we used the restaurant for breakfast and a Sunday afternoon roast and the food was exceptional. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, the location is also spot on, we will definitely visit again.

Went for a roast with family and it was delicious. Also fantastic service from Florence who was friendly and attentive.

Lovely place, lovely people- enjoyed a very comfortable night in a suite with a delicious breakfast in this charming hotel with restaurant.

I visited with my parents who had stayed at the hotel twice before with no issues. I booked the rooms because of specific access requirements for my parents and I cannot fault the reception, they could of not been more helpful and accommodating. The rooms were adequate and beds were comfy although in one room the curtains did not close properly and the TV did not work but that was not the problem. I reported to reception and this can easily be resolved. The restaurant really let the side down. There was lots of staff but very inexperienced if you have a soup/pie or roast of the day they need to know what they are. It was difficult to get anyone's attention to ask a questions/request the bill and card machine and we had to ask the same question more than once. The breakfast service on all three mornings was poor, very limited choice and each day another item would have disappeared. Each morning there was a 15 minute wait for the scrambled egg to be replenished. To end on a positive note the hotel is ideally situated for visiting Stratford Upon Avon and the Cotswolds and if the service and breakfast in the restaurant was addressed we would stay again.

We visited as part of a coach trip, the hotel was brilliant, check in so simple, room bright and clean, bathroom fresh and adequate, food hot and plentiful, staff were delightful and helpful, although the bar staff seemed a little inexperienced but not a problem, had a very peaceful undisturbed nights sleep, would certainly recommend this hotel, which also gives access to beautiful locations
