A very satisfying stay. The hotel environment and hygiene are great. We upgraded the room on the top floor, and the view room is very pleasant. The layout of the room is also very comfortable, and the toiletries smell very good. It would be nice if there was a way to buy them. The breakfast is very delicious and rich. I will eat it no matter how lazy I am. I am especially grateful to Ms. Lina at the front desk. She is very professional and gentle, and all the requests I made have received very good responses. I will recommend friends to this hotel in the future.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. Its new ,clean and cozy. I liked the room ,new bathtub, a beautiful view ,(if don’t count the park that was under construction).The staff is very attentive and friendly. Breakfast and dinner were really good,a wide selection of food. Just don’t recommend Starbucks coffee there,its far different from original one.

CSS was a pretty decent hotel. It is outside of the main tourist areas, so it was quiet, but it is still pretty convenient. There are a few nice restaurants close by. The river view is very nice. The hotel was okay overall.

First of all, the location is very good. Although the facilities are a bit old, the five-star service and implementation are still acceptable. The only thing is that the faucet next door or upstairs is very noisy. Once it is turned on, it is impossible to sleep. There were two days when it was basically noisy from 10 am to 12 am. The video shows the sound of the faucet, and the last few seconds are the result of being turned off and instantly quiet. I hope it can be improved. It is a few minutes' walk to Line 6. It is very convenient to go out by subway these days. To the northwest is a special alley next to the Second Provincial Hospital. There is a market and several good small shops. It is close to May Day Square and IFC. But there are too many people on holidays, so it is better not to go.

Although the room furniture is slightly dated, it is conveniently located next to i-City mall and serves as a centralised location to explore Changsha. Opt for the daily breakfast and you will not be disappointed. Most of the local food can be found at the buffet and the view on the 43rd floor is magnificent. The only downside was the strong smell of cigarettes that permeated the air in the room. Remember to bring your own swimming cap if u intend to utilise the indoor swimming pool, otherwise u will not be allowed to enter the pool. Swimming caps retail at 40CNY a piece, so BYOC (Bring Your Own Cap)!

This is a hotel I often stay in. I have added the housekeeper Xiao Tan's WeChat before. What surprised me this time was that the housekeeper Xiao Tan took the initiative to contact me after learning that I was staying in the hotel. When he learned that my room did not include breakfast, he took the initiative to send me snacks and fruits the next morning. The service was super considerate! Although the hotel is an old five-star hotel, the service is excellent and the location is also good. It is convenient to go everywhere and is close to the subway station. The room facilities are complete and clean. There are welcome fruits when you check in, there are robots in the lobby, free tea, and free luggage storage. It's really good. I recommend staying here!

The hotel is very clean and profesional. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast has an ample range for the hungry traveller with the Chinese food cooked to perfection and decent bread but not many cereal options. I would have preferred there to be sugar-free options with the hot drinks but there is hot water for tea bags. The decor is superb and bed warm and comfortable. I didn't get to see the museum so if I come back then I will probably choose to stay here again!

Checked in on Sat 28th before my fiancé to arrange some things like wedding flowers, decorations etc. Katrina at reception was absolutely fantastic. She followed up on the requests I had and verified the Trip.com staff information which was sent earlier. She was extremely friendly, kind, thoughtful, diligent, and professional - a real asset to IHG. She took care of everything. She arranged the decorations to be done after we left for marriage registration so when I got back it would all be ready for my wife. The facilities and service like the 1st floor all day dining restaurant, the Sky27 bar and Intercontinental club on the 27th floor, were wonderful. The Latin band (Cuban / Colombian duo) were magnificent and quite friendly ✊ Breakfast boxes were arranged for our early departure on 31st. The taxi was ordered and promptly arrived ahead of time to collect us. Hotel staff checked if I was an IHG member and applied my discounts where relevant. Breakfast buffet and all day a La carte dining was wonderful. Shopping mall access through the hotel lobby is easily accessible and quite convenient. All in all, it was a marvellous few days at Intercontinental Changsha.
