Perfect base for your Loire Castles adventures
This place is a little gem, nested in the countryside with a fantastic vibe. The host is extremely kind and clearly made a great work with the place, the room was perfect for my family of 4 and we all loved the stay. The breakfast was definitely the best in our month-long vacation in France. When going again to the Loire valley, I'd definitely be coming back a La Source de Bury to use as a base to visit the many castles in the area.

Wonderful host who was happy to give us tips for excursions and other interesting information. Breakfast with homemade bread, jam, fruit smoothie and fresh crepes as well as homemade cakes every day. Rooms on two floors, fully cosy and stylishly furnished. Quiet place, perfectly located for visiting the countless Loire castles. We would love to come back!

Lovely stay for the family on our way from the UK to the south. Comfortable and spacious room and lovely breakfast. We were lucky enough to have dinner in the BBQ Hut with David who is great company and a fantastic chef. This was the best meal we had on the trip, with locally sourced produce and wine. David puts a lot of effort into making sure the accommodation and meals are of high quality.

We had booked from Saturday August 13 to Tuesday August 23 and it was nothing but a delight. The setting is very beautiful, the reservation we had was large enough for the two of us with a large bedroom upstairs with a very large bed. The decor is simple but good. There is a fridge and microwave for snacks. What can we say about the garden: a haven of peace for those, like us, who love calm and relaxation with the sound of the spring coming out of the old wash house. Huge bamboos in the garden, a small pond with a wooden bridge to access it with enormous fish, the spring which continues all along the garden and which will flow into the Loire much further on. There is plenty of room to rest on deckchairs to take a nap and read. In addition, David is a fan of French history and will therefore be very good at guiding you according to your desires and even advising you on places to visit by pointing out the days of big influences. IN addition you will be able to pet their two cocker spaniels who love petting, especially Orion.

It is the most charming accommodation I have ever stayed in in my entire life. The hosts offer you unbeatable treatment. We had dinner at the cabin/barbecue with local products and it was a great success, with wine from the region. Breakfast left us speechless. EVERYTHING homemade. A 10 place, to repeat without a doubt. We went with children and it was perfect because it has a lot of garden for them to play and they treat them great.

We were received by David who had the wonderful idea of leaving Paris to open this haven of peace 10 years ago. Everything is perfect: from the welcome to the kindness to the professionalism of the owner. Impeccable room, excellent homemade breakfast, right down to the smoothie made to order. All this served in pretty dishes. The room was impeccably clean. The meal cooked by David live served in the evening at an unbeatable price in a wonderful garden by the water. Very charming room over 2 floors. Nice garden and very nice host David. Delicious French breakfast with a fantastic smoothie. We booked the accommodation spontaneously for an overnight stay while passing through and would love to come back. This is how the vacation can start!
