We arrived at 20.30. The restaurant was unfortunately full so the man on reception kindly booked us a table in a nearby restaurant, about 10 minutes walk. It was okay. The buildings , garden and scenery are beautiful. But our room was disappointing. We had a downstairs room for wheelchair uses. ( this wasn’t requested). It was spacious but very basic. The shower didn’t work properly and there was someone’s clothes in the wardrobe. The view was of the carpark. Luckily we were only in the room for one night. Communication with the staff was poor. We left soon after breakfast.

Staff were wonderful, beautuful building and gardens. Felt like a holiday even though i stayed for just 2 nights. Good restaurants & shopping nearby. The hotel restaurant was excellent.

Amazing stay
Absolutely beautiful chateau with stunning views. Food and drink were amazing and the staff were so friendly and attentive.

Lovely hotel in pretty setting. Comfortable room. Unfortunately when we arrived we were told there was no availability for a table for dinner that evening and they had tried to call me (unsuccessfully probably as I have a US phone number) but “Rob” booked us into a great casual bistro a few minutes walk away. We were offered a complimentary wine tasting/tour of the wine cellars at 6pm. We arrived for the tour but there was a private party who were booked - the hotel apologized and offered the next tour at 7pm but we declined as we were booked for dinner at 7pm. A lovely gesture was 2 glasses of wine each on the terrace from the hotel. Very nice!

lovely old chateau set in its own garden with panoramic mountain views. Charming and comfortable rooms. Genuinely fine dining and wines.

Fabulous chateau hotel and perfect for Christmas. Lovely staff, extensive grounds to explore and quite delicious food. TBH I can’t understand or recognise several of the negative comments below. I think I’m an experienced traveler and quite picky but I have been delighted with my 6 night stay - and with all the food and wine.
