Bed and Breakfast L&P ★★★
"The location was very central and close to everything, the host was also super friendly. This is a hotel with a lower standard. There are a lot of ants in the room that even get into the beds and the airconditioning does not go lower than 23 degrees. The rooms are small and the shower has mold on the walls and shower heads."
Thaleia Dimora di Pregio ★★★★
"This is a great find in the heart of Cefalu. There were 13 of us family and friends and we were all extremely happy with our stay. The rooms are spacious, modern and well decorated, spotless and quiet. The staff went out of their way to be helpful, even to the point of picking up a bag that I accidentally left at the car park and posting it back to UK for me. The breakfasts were delicious and cooked to order. Nothing was too much trouble. We would all highly recommend staying here if you want to visit Cefalu!"
Ossuna Bay Hotel Boutique ★★★
"Good location, unfortunately only accessible for us elderly people by overpriced taxi, we had a room facing the narrow Guergasse, it was quiet, another guest who had the room facing the main road definitely wanted a different room because of the noise of the traffic, so definitely book a room facing N Bottastrasse!"
Artemis Hotel ★★★★
"Excellent location a stone's throw from the seafront and the center, excellent breakfast and abundant variety, friendly and helpful staff. Advised"
Vanni House 68 ★★★
Hotel la Plumeria ★★★★
"The facilities are basically complete, the health is not bad, in the town, very close to the attractions, parking is not convenient, far away, the service is OK, the small attic has a balcony is not bad"
Hotel la Giara ★★★
"Very close to the attractions. Very lively. Parking is a bit inconvenient."
Nooria Sicilian Charme Rooms ★★★
"Fantastic stay in Cefalù! I stayed at Nooria and absolutely loved it. The room was fantastic, located on the corner of the building, which gave me stunning views of both the mountains and the sea. Everything in the apartment felt brand new and well thought out — from the kitchen setup and utensils to the two amazing terraces with breathtaking views. The location is perfect, just steps away from a charming pedestrian street filled with restaurants and local life. And a special thank you to Maria, who is such a kind and lovely person. Highly recommended!"
Alberi Del Paradiso ★★★★
"Great hotel! Very friendly staff and excellent food. Here the guest is king ☺️"

Taliammari
"There's nothing to complain about the hotel room, except that it's located in the ZTL, a fact I only learned about three or five days before arriving. It was pouring rain on the day I arrived, and the nearest parking lot was 750 meters away. You can imagine how arduous it would be to walk those 750 meters with luggage and an umbrella (it's all cobblestone, and dragging suitcases was a struggle). I wish the hotel offered a luggage transport service, even if it was for a fee. On the day of check-in, I found no hot water in the shower. The owner quickly came and figured it might be caused by the hairdryer being plugged into the bathroom electrical panel (which I didn't quite understand). The owner asked if there was a plug, but I didn't see one and asked twice. Shouldn't I ask the cleaning staff if they checked it when the previous guest checked out? Aside from that, there were no other issues. The breakfast was delicious."
Salemare Rooms & Suites
"Rooms are big and clean and the view is very nice"
Lirma B&B
"I'm generally satisfied; it doesn't have any outstanding advantages, but it also doesn't have any major disadvantages!"
Astro Suite Hotel
"This hotel is close to the beach, has its own underground parking, spacious rooms, complete facilities, and beautiful views. The only problem was that the bathroom drain was clogged; it took an hour for the repairman to finally fix it."
Skyview Cefalù
"The owners where so friendly and made me feel so relaxed as I had a bad experience prior to arriving they were very helpful and so beautiful inside and out I will be highly recommending them to all my friends in Australia and Sicily, I definitely will be going back. They had magnificent views and so close to town and everything so highly recommended ❤️🇮🇹"
B&B le Ginestre
"After arriving at this property, we discovered the room was extremely hot and we turned the air conditioning on to cool it down. We left for town and upon returning, we were shocked and dismayed to discover that someone had come into our room and turned off the air conditioning. The room was unbearably hot, and the air conditioning unit could not cool down the room fast enough for us to get a good night of rest. We checked out the next morning, frustrated and exhausted. Furthermore, there were no facial tissues in the room, no toiletries in the shower, the furniture was uncomfortable, and there was no full-sized refrigerator/freezer as was misrepresented in the property amenities, and the internet was slow. The room was in a loft with very low-sloping ceilings which made it easy to bump your head. The floor was uneven when getting out of bed which made for a dangerous situation. Finally, the property description should say that the road getting to the property disappears into a very bumpy gravel road, and adds to the confusion on getting to the property."
Hotel Kalura
"Well located hotel but only if you have a car. Not able to plug in the hairdryer (neither the one that came with the room or my own) in the bathroom which was a bit of a problem as only mirror was there. Room was nice and clean but bed wasn’t the best and We turned down the room cleaning service as it was offered late afternoon (once we were back from city visit) at which hour we were resting before dinner. View, waitor at bar and breakfast terrasse were extremely nice."
Villa Dei Melograni Boutique Hotel
"The price is relatively high, and the rooms are basic."
Le Calette N.5
"Lovely hotel with a really relaxed atmosphere. Our room was 2nd floor overlooking the pool. Very comfortable and lovely view but the bathroom is not 5 star. Strange arrangement with the shower and toilet. Notwithstanding that the bathroom amenities were a lovely Sicilian brand. Location is 25min walk into town, not for those who struggle with walking but we enjoyed it. The hotel never felt busy and there’s lots of different places to relax and enjoy the weather with great facilities. Staff are super friendly too."
Le Calette Bay
"The setting of the hotel is the main selling point here. Gorgeous coves to go swimming and a lovely reef club with direct water access for swimming. The staff are excellent too. Unfortunately the food and rooms are a let down. Our room was tiny and resembled a hospital bedroom with nice bedding. It had a very clinical feel and we really didn’t want to spend time in it at all. The food is very average. The cheese and ham toasted sandwich in the reef club was grim, I would make better at home myself. We had lunch in the reef club and the food was very average and the menu is very boring and unimaginative. Breakfast setting is lovely outside but again the food was very average and the coffee is awful. The staff informed us they use instant coffee and you can tell immediately. My poached eggs and bacon was very bad and overcooked. The quality of the ingredients certainly is not 5 star. The hotel also charge guests for use of the kayaks, paddle boards, sauna and steam room. There is no shuttle service to go into town despite a minibus parked outside the hotel. Overall we liked the location but the hotel needs to do better."
Cefalù Sea Palace
"Location is very good. Quiet at night, but not too far from beach and historic sights. It is a 10 minute walk to the edge of the historic centre. Other hotels on the beach road that we considered were nearer but when we walked past them we were glad we chose the Sea Palace. The others had much busier roads around them and less appealing outlooks. It is not far from the train station but the walk with large bags wasn't that pleasant with narrow pavements. (For the uphill return we got a taxi from reception). Our room was quiet and near the back. It was large, clean, with a comfortable bed. We also had a large terrace, which partial views of the sea and the town. The air con worked well. Breakfast was on the top floor with lovely views. There was a good range of food, including some nuts, and fresh coffee made by staff. Also some fruit. (Availability of nuts and fruit seemed to vary by the day). Its beach club almost opposite was good. We got beach towels from reception which was handy. We arrived before official check in but after a lunch at the beach club we were able to check in an hour and a half early. The main downside for us was the emphasis on no food or drink in the room, including it would seem water (it was not clear). For those of us to like to do the right thing it leads to unnecessary stress. Other reviews have mentioned this, and the response has been that it is a common policy and for safety and hygiene, which seems odd. We go to many hotels in many places and have never had this. The opposite in fact with bottled water often now provided free to avoid the need to go to local shops. And often space in the mini-fridge for brought in water, milk etc. We like to use hotel bars but also like to have lots of bottled water to drink, and a drink of wine or beer on the terrace, perhaps with crisps or nuts. If the issue is people having parties and being anti-social, that should be what is stated. Or bringing in lots of food, eg take-aways, that should be mentioned. If the issue is food debris, attracting mice etc, then a reminder to keep food wrapped would suffice. In terms of bars in fact we would have liked to have a drink at the hotel more often. We used the day-time beach bar which was fine, though as others have said a bit pricey. We also used the 4th floor bar once in the evening and it had a lovely night time view of the town and cliffs. But it still looked like the restaurant room, with a few tables on the edge for bar seating, and we were the only people there at 11pm. Not sure what can be done to make it more of a draw but it is a pity there was no more standard bar area for the evening (there was an outside area which was being done up when we were there - perhaps that will be a place to go in the evening). It would be nice to have some events like wine tastings or acoustic music early evening or happy hours that might encourage use of the bars. The breakfast food was fine but "
Insulae Resort
"We enjoyed a superb 5 night stay at the Insulae during our Sicily vacation. Wow!! What a beautiful place. SO relaxing! Just perfect in every way & exceeded our already high expectations. Just the downtime we were looking for. We booked a private pool room - stunning!! Room very comfortable. Outside terrace amazing for chilling. The resort grounds are immaculate with gorgeous seating areas to enjoy with a coffee or aperitif. Pool is fab. Very comfortable sun loungers & pool bar is a lovely plus!! The Insulae team are fantastic. Very professional, friendly & helpful. Complimentary bus into Cefalu is a nice touch. Excellent buffet breakfast selection you can enjoy alfresco. The resort has the outstanding Zayt restaurant on site (see my separate review). In a word Zayt is phenomenal!! Highly recommend Insulae & can’t wait to go back sometime. Thank you."
Villa Totò Resort
"Idyllic setting above the town, v chilled vibe, all staff were very friendly, helpful and polite, we loved the pool area, which did good drinks and bar food at lunchtime, everything is clean and well maintained , bedroom had a lovely balcony - perfect for a glass of wine, and complementary products were a nice touch. Good coffee at breakfast and nice to eat under the olive trees, onsite restaurant was good and a great option if you don’t want to venture into town. We loved the tuk tuk into town and back great fun"
Ma&Mi for You B&B
"The location of the apartment is OK, about 20 minutes walk to the beach, self-service check-in, the check-in guide is not very smooth, the attitude is relatively blunt when communicating, the room is generally hygienic, and the sheets are stained."
Hotel Mediterraneo
"It's very close to the train station, right across the street!"
Tilde B&B
"The perfect place to visit Cefalu. We were warmly welcomed by Marta and Stefano. The decoration of the triple room with a terrace, is lovely. It is also very well equipped and comfortable. The breakfast was perfect. We will definitely be back next year."
