It was a true joy staying at the home of Marty and Terrie. Both are very kind, welcoming and warming people. They show true joy in having guests! We’d found this property through google and adjusted our trip to visit. When we drove up the land we saw a deer welcoming us! How amazing is that? We stayed in the yellow room. Nicely decorated decor and a very comfy bed! The bathroom is not en-suite but is easily accessed through the hallway. Everything you needed for having a great shower is there! We enjoyed a really good breakfast in the library and had a splendid cup of fresh made hot chocolate. The house is self built by the owners and looks just like a true gem. If I need to point out one thing that I was missing that would’ve been an AC. But that’s just a personal thing, since I always like to have cold fresh air in the room. You can leave the windows open if you want. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Best scones we've ever had
Hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming.
Delicious breakfast. Hosts were gracious enough to sit down and chatty with us during breakfast.
Very interesting adobe home. It was built by the owners themselves, from scratch (they even built the bricks themselves).

The hosts were very accommodating and very pleasant. They obviously take a lot of pride into what they created and rightfully so. The room and the shower was so peaceful along with deer grazing outside your window. There is nothing that is not superb about staying here .
The home baked scones and the breakfast crepes was scrumptious.. Much to look forward to wake up to .

Overall, our stay was good. Our only concerns were the cleanliness of the linens and dirty dishes left in our room. The home was beautiful, was very hospitable.

I want to go back!
Beautiful home with wonderful hosts! Breakfast was really good with scones that were delicious! Huge relaxing bath tub. Deer were in the front yard to tell us goodbye the day we left.

Can’t wait to return!
What an absolute gem! The hosts were so kind and the place made us feel so relaxed, I wish I could do a permanent vaca there! This home was so inspiring! If you are creative or like architecture, this is a must stop! Ps. The hot chocolate is their recipe and a must try before you leave. We can’t wait to return!
