We flew to the US to surprise family. After 36 hours of travel, our check-in woman was very kind and gave us a warm welcome home.

Small room, not very clean or well maintained. TV worked briefly before going out. Called the front desk and was told she would try to reset it but it would probably be that way for the night. Don't waste your money! There are lots of other great hotels. We stay down here frequently, usually at a different place but they were sold out.

The room was very small and cramped. There was no closet, just a curtain drawn against the wall to cover up the ironing board and luggage stand. The bathroom was very tiny but clean; 2 people could not fit in it at the same time. The room had not been vacuumed as there were crumbs and other things all over the floor. Breakfast selections were not as many as other Hiltons, and the breakfast area consisted of folding tables and chairs. I don't like to give less than 5 stars, but this hotel did not earn that.

Worst experience I have ever had with a hotel and Hampton Inn. This place has been allowed to run down. The name Hampton Inn stands for something and should be a guarantee that you are staying at the best, but not here. The cable did not work and therefore no good tv and could not even stream from my iPad. The refrigerator does not work. The floor of the cabinet area where the frig was, had holes in it. The tables from the breakfast were still dirty snd not cleaned up from earlier in the morning. I felt sorry for the young lady working the desk. She did what she could. Who ever oversees this place, should be fired. I noticed the rating for this place was 3 stars, but I disregarded the rating because it was a Hampton Inn. Will not make that mistake again, Should have stayed at the Fairfield Inn and Suites across the street. Please heed this recommendation.

The outside of the hotel had a cut up fallen tree, laying at the side of the parking lot, and a wooden frame sitting by the front door. Lots of paper signs taped to doors, which is very unprofessional. Screens on the window of one of the rooms was hanging. Inside at check in, we were notified that the TV service didn't work correctly so we would need to cast from our phone. The lobby bathroom next to the elevator was not working, as well as the toilet in our room didn't flush properly. To top everything off, a fire alarm went off at 6 a.m. When we asked at the front desk why the alarm went off, the person replied, " I don't know." We said we were unhappy with our stay, and she said she totally understood why, seemingly embarrassed to be there. The attendant said we would need to wait until Monday, mid day to call the general manager... really... Attempted to use the chat feature on the app. The app said there was someone ready to chat, yet, never received a response.

No Air, No Cable and No Pool. Breakfast area was folding tables.
Remodeling of hallways, and was not sealed off well, paint and construction smell bad.
Did nothing to help accomodate us at another site.
