SpringHill Suites Cedar City

Booked a two queen bed suites room. Comes with sofa and can turn to bed. Comfortable bed. Nearby grocery store and restaurants. Overall a pleasant stay overnight stop in Cedar City.

Place is clean, services are good

The lady at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good as well. Well located and easy on/off to I-70.

This was one of the most disappointing Spring Hill Suites I’ve ever stayed at. The gym is ridiculously small with only three cardio machine. No bread for toast at breakfast nor skim milk. We are priority customers so we have the option of getting our room cleaned daily, which we requested but didn’t happen. Most of the staff was nice with the exception of the woman who checked us in. The hotel was clean. I just expected a bit more from this Marriott brand. The Spring Hill Suites we stayed at in Boise, Idaho just a couple of weeks ago was excellent.

Close en That was as close as I have ever had to a perfect hotel stay. Clean, spacious, quiet, easy to find, everything in the hotel was easy to find, plenty of plugins, checkin was perfect. Our 3 reserved rooms were right together. Breakfast was good with hot and cold options. Good location. Ice machines were not working. Otherwise, perfect.

Wasn’t impressed. Came in for one night with my adult son. First, the only room available with a king studio with a pull out side. Not a big deal, he was ok with sleeping on a pullout. However, we were soon to be told that it’s actually a trundle bed. That’s not exactly a pullout sofa, so he had to sleep on the couch. The mattress on the trundle bed was so thin. Secondly, the front desk never greeted us at any of the times we walked past them. They were always looking down at their computer screen. This was with two different employees. The room was spacious but the air conditioner was so loud it kept us up all night. Walked in and it was set at 70 which you’d think would be ok, but it was muggy in there. Turned it down to 67 to get some air flowing. In the middle of the night, I turned it up because it got cold and wanted the AC to stop kicking on so much. But the noise got louder on the higher temp. WTH?? Renovation was done 2 years ago but they definitely didn’t do the AC units. Breakfast wasn’t all that great but the breakfast lady at least greeted us and said good morning. We didn’t even eat our entire breakfast. Went to check out and no one at the desk, just a sign saying she had to leave and she’d be back. Is there no general manager on property to watch the desk when the front desk agent has to leave? I wasn’t about to wait for her to come back to tell her about the AC unit so we just left. Ohh and while we attempted to have breakfast, the lobby person was walking by with his cart that was soo loud, sounded like the wheel was going to fall off and he just kept going.
