Great location & beach, average to ok service.

Large but dirty double room, old structure, acceptable food. Nice staff. Working wifi. Very calm.

TOO EXPENSIVE FOR THE SERVICES IT PROVIDES. COULD IMPROVE MORE

Love this place! We first came to the Daiquiri in Feb 2024 as a couple. We have since returned once with my husbands parents and most recently in May with 2 of our kids (not really kids). 17m and 20f. With a third trip definitely in the near future. This resort is great for families and couples if ya don't mind the kids. If your looking for luxury this probably is not the place for you. If you are looking to have a good time, enjoy the beach, and maybe make a new friend or two, it's perfect. We don't travel with little ones but the kids that we did see participating in kids club activities with Marlie look to be having a great time. They even get there own part in the nightly entertainment and I think it was a great way to get them involved. The beach is beautiful! Every time we have been it's been slightly different. There is a sandbar to the right if your looking at the Ocean. Great place to explore with kids. Please teach your kids to leave starfish in the water. They suffocate outside the water! The resort itself is clean and well kept. Yes, some repairs need to be done and updates made but I think that is a continuous process. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and the staff are amazing! Right from our first encounter we were made to feel welcome. By the end of our first stay we felt like we had a home away from home. We have made many friends both guest and staff. Aselia was a HUGE help getting us moved back to the Daiquiri after being told by our travel agency the resort was closed. Adriana and her team at the front desk are a great group, friendly, welcoming and always willing to help. Richard and Debray in the lobby bar, the kitchen and restaurant staff, Kokina and all the entertainment crew, they are all amazing! The food....I am not all the picky and don't mind the food one bit. It would be nice to have more fruit and veg. options and yes it does get repetitive but it's decent, healthy and works just fine for our family. Try the Churros!! We bring our own snacks and of course some to share.

I have traveled all over Cuba this is by far the best resort ihave stayed at the people and staff that work there are like family to me now and will I have met some who will remain friends for life the pool is perfect with plenty of seating in and out of the sun. The food was great I'm a big meat lover so I had no problem I didn't do the la carte dining experience but will do when I return in July. The beach was lovely and the long board walk out over the ocean was breathtaking the pictures don't Do it justice. I highly recommend staying here. A huge shout out to the entertainment staff for awesome shows. 10 out of 10 for me

A family trip to remember. Never thought we would be so pleased, our expectations were high but they crushed them for good. Great food, great drinks, nice rooms, excellent staff and an entertainment from another world. Nildrey, Darita, Julio, Marbelis, Joel, Yunior, Yoel, David, Yani, Sachy, Gaby, Marlie, Koki, all excellent people and super professionals. I will come back for sure

Food was repetitive and not very good at all. Rooms dated with broken fixtures, TV didn’t work, sliding door to patio was sticking. No toilet paper in bathrooms by snack bar and toilets didn’t flush. Ran out of some liquor drinks (pina colada’s, daiquiri, etc) by 3pm. Snack bar only open sometimes. Hamburgers were not ground beef. No French fries. No pizza. Lots of eggs at breakfast but no hard boiled eggs at lunch or supper. House flies and cockroaches (not all over the place but were present). Staff were ok - not as friendly as I was expecting but not rude either. Just regular. Beach was lovely, pools were ok (drink bar did not have the waterfall going). Beach and pool had lots of chairs. Boardwalk with huts had a beautiful view but in need of a little repair. Entertainment staff were good. We had hot water but our shower head would not stay up above our heads. Air conditioner worked very well. Rooms were clean as was the resort in general. Only given one small roll of toilet paper per day. We did enjoy our stay. No one goes to Cuba for the food so we knew what to expect. However; there were no theme nights with the food. Just the same thing for 7 days lunch and supper. We did a la carte but they were equally if not more disappointing. This resort has lovely bones. It’s a perfect size. Lots of room for renovations. If they are complete this resort would go back to being a 4 star. As it is right now, I would say it’s a 3 star resort.

We absolutely love this place...... And the KIDS CLUB!!!! AMAZING! Our kiddies are having the time of their lives. If you want a family trip this is the place to be. We love the ladies so much and so do the kiddies. We will come back again and again!

LOVE this resort so much. This is my second time visiting.. The staff definitely make this place. My children especially love the kids club... Marlie & Yany are wonderful coordinators they dance, play games, swim, do face painting, go exploring, dinners together, cinema.. and a mini disco in the evening for all the children.. can't wait to return.

Just back from another amazing week at this wonderful resort! This was our third visit in three years and we will definitely be back! The beaches are unparalleled!! The people are friendly and warm, and the food is so good! Every year it gets better! No shortages and no power outages! This year we were gifted a bottle of rum for being repeat visitors, and there was a reception for us as well. We once again did the glass bottom boat excursion through Sanmy the lifeguard and it was amazing! The snorkeling was incredible and the lobster and fish lunch on the island were delucioy! I cannot wait to return! I give this resort five stars!

The beach and pool were beautiful with lots of loungers. Room was cleaned well every day by staff and beds were comfortable! The entertainment staff were absolutely amazing! So friendly and helpful. They really cared that we had an awesome experience and by the end of the trip they felt like friends. Shout out to Joelle, Neildra, and Julio! Thanks for everything Iberostar - can’t wait to return!

I have been to this resort four times over six years. Let me start by saying this resort is very very clean from the rooms to the grounds to common areas you will always see staff keeping it spotless. The staff are absolutely beautiful friendly people that are always happy to make your stay welcome. Aselia goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is welcome that you are happy your needs are met with her friendly personality and beautiful smile. There is to many staff members I have made friends with that are just lovely The food is great you will not go hungry with wide variety for breakfast lunch dinner and the snack bar. Drinks are plenty and let me suggest the Spanish coffee they are delicious. I will always go back to this resort and I have met people that have been there fifteen times and more so that says it all when you have loyal guest that keep returning. Enjoy your in Cuba with a beautiful beach and pool. ❤️❤️❤️
