I'm a single mom traveling from Oregon with my 11 year old son to Caye Caulker in Aug of 2025 for vacation. Trip type: Vacation · Family Hotel highlights: Great view · Quiet Nearby activitiesThe Split ️ Feeding the Tarpons Iguana reef stingray feeding Snorkeling Hol Chan/Caulker Reef Blue Hole ️ Soccer Field with night games ⚽ Basketball pick-up games ⛹️♂️⛹️ Cornhole ️ Diving Flying ✈️ Picking up Sargassum and garbage ️️ Local music at the Brewery Meeting locals Eating fryjacks Hearing Kriol spoken and many other languages from all different types of people from all around the world. ️️ SafetyShuffle your feet in the sand to avoid stepping on a stingray. Hold the sardine with hand flat. Watch out for bikes and golf carts. Watch out for level 6 of Marie's hot sauce. Watch out for the current at the Split. Walkability:You should walk about. It is very walkable. Food & drinks:All of them. Noteworthy details The Blue Hole and Hol Chan and the local Animal Shelter.

We had a great stay at the Tree Tops Resort! The kids loved being able to use the bikes and they were helpful to get around. The view ontop of the building is amazing and it's a great spot to sneak away from the family for a moment of peace. All the employees are very helpful and assist to ensure you have the optimal stay.

Amazing view with nice pool,door and T.V remote were broken though. I loved how it was so close to town, Cay Caulker is a lovely island. People there were really kind. Liked how they had pool towels right outside of the pool. And the room was stunning, including the view.

The Blue Hole Apt. Was beautifully furnished. The pictures do not do it justice ! It has all the homey amenities- dishwasher, coffee machine, stove, ice maker and fresh water tower. The property is within walking distance of lots of food spots, bars, excursion companies and is a short golf cart ride away from the split. Lovely place to stay!!

We had a wonderful 4 nights at Tree Tops hotel. The Sunrise room is great with a large private balcony (facing the sunrise ☺️ and a moonrise) and looking out to sea. Very comfortable bed, good bathroom, ac (we mostly just used the fan). Kitchen has a fridge and coffee machine. The property has a nice pool and loungers. The location is great, just a 5 minute walk to town and maybe 15- 20 minutes all the way to The Split. Audré is the best part of Tree Tops. Super lovely manager, she helped arrange a snorkelling tour and was happy to help with anything.

Fabulous fabulous hotel. Lovely people, beautiful setting. So much help and nothing was too much of a problem. So helpful; and so friendly. Will definitely stay again! The pool is small, but in a really nice position and very clear. The rooms were modern and clean. Excellent location.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely hotel, located on the quieter, southern end of Caye Caulker. Our room was bright, airy, and very spacious, equipped with a fridge, TV, safe, fan, and air conditioning. The large bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was just as roomy, featuring one of the best showers we had on our trip. The hotel’s facilities were excellent—there’s a swimming pool, several lounge areas, a rooftop terrace, and access to a private beach just across the road. Free bicycles were also a great bonus. A special shoutout to Audre, who did an amazing job keeping everything in top shape. She ensured everything ran smoothly and was always helpful and responsive via WhatsApp. Communication before and during our stay was seamless. Highly recommend!

Treetops hotel was amazing! Quiet, with a beautiful view. Audre was so helpful arranging taxis for us. We loved having the bikes available to explore the island. We give it 5+ stars.
