What a horrible experience... Hey everybody it's Lobsterfest Weekend!! Oh wait, we forgot to tell you that we lose power and water during Lobsterfest. Yes, you read that correctly. No power and even worse, no running water. The smell was the worst part, if you can believe that. The entire resort smelled like dead people. The amount of rotting sargassum collected in front of the ocean view cabanas was unbelievable. I do not know how anyone could tolerate that smell. When I asked for a refund, they said I have to go through the company I booked it through. When I did that they denied the refund, even though they double charged me for the one night I did stay. It was hell. Do not go during Lobsterfest, do not go during sargassum season. After how the refund was handled, I do not recommend ever going.

Very quiet, romantic, staff was friendly and attentive. Food in restaurant was probably some of the best I had while in Belize. Would definitely come back.

This is a very beautiful resort in a quiet and perfectly manicured area on the northern side of the island. We were welcomed with a complimentary drink and got a great rundown on all amenities. The resort is absolutely perfect and lots of groundskeepers worked constantly keeping it up. Our cabin was amazing. There are 2 pools. There is a complimentary boat to get you around or you can take a short ride at the split for $2 to $5. The on-site restaurant was incredible and has some of the best food on Caye Caulker. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming.

“After a conference in Belize, we went to unwind in Caye Caulker. Ben’s Cabanas are a perfect place to disconnect. We loved the traditional construction of the rooms, which makes it very different from modern hotels. We were able to rent bikes and explore the area, kayaked all around, and the resort’s boat transfer service was very convenient. A wonderful experience.”

They claim that they provide transportation to split, but it is very limited to specific times and you have to pay to cover ferry. It is inconvenient place with limited amenities. The safe was not working in room. The hotel smells at night

Increíble lugar apartado del bullicio de Caukel, mencionando que estamos en la isla de cokel a un costado, pero todo el día hay servicio de lancha (nueva y hermosa) para trasladarte, desde tu llegada a Caukel pasan por uno, y después te llevan y traen en horarios y si no te llevan gratuito también en carrito de golf al punto de enlace en un pequeño ferry entre las dos islas, ahí si solo pagas el ferry. Este lado de la isla tiene unos pequeños restaurantes el north lobster es delicioso y también pasa un carrito
