Cleanliness: The room was spotless clean, including the bathroom. I couldn’t fault the cleanliness. Location: The place was near many places including a petrol station, that sells reasonable petrol or diesel for cars. As well as you get free parking with the hotel. Service: The service from check in to check out was easy. However most staff couldn’t speak English including at their own restaurant, but somewhere we managed to communicate. The staff were really nice and lovely. Amenities: Towels was provided in the rooms with running hot water. Downside: the room we had was a double room with breakfast included, which wasn’t sound proof. I didn’t have a problem sleeping since I’m a heavy sleeper but my partner experienced drunken people in the corridor having loud conversations which ruined his sleep for an hour and then he couldn’t go back to sleep all night. Other than that I couldn’t fault the hotel in anything.

Booked thinking it was close to Castellon airport but was 30mins away, arrived thinking the outside and reception look OK, we were given the room key and went to the room to find the door already open, the floor boards are coming apart, the place wasn't properly cleaned, walls were dirty, the TV screen was faulty so couldn't watch anything, my partner sat on the end of the bed and fell through it, the slats were missing. The food was basic but edible, staff in the evening were friendly but the morning staff were ignorant, they give you your breakfast portions which makes you feel uneasy, I'm glad this was just a stopover to the airport, we just wanted a sleep, even that was difficult with neighbours who were living there playing music and screaming all hours, never again will I stay there or recommend it to anyone, drive on by folks.

It needs renovation. The furniture is scuffed, and we even had a stained towel. The half-enclosed shower stall leaked all the water.

When we arrived, the room smelled strongly of tobacco and wasn't very clean! We told reception, and they changed our room, which was much better!

Hotel Bag Review - 0 stars My experience at Hotel Bag has been absolutely disastrous and I would not recommend this place to anyone. From the first moment, everything was complete chaos and a total disappointment. Upon arrival, they tried to charge us almost €300 for the reservation, claiming that it had been cancelled in February. This information was totally false, as I had the confirmation of the reservation and the check-in made on July 27th. After arguing, they sent us to a run-down room: stained beds, damp, everything dirty. It looked like an improvised storage room to accommodate us due to the supposed non-existence of our reservation and the lack of rooms. The owner of the hotel was incredibly unpleasant. Instead of solving our problem, she started speaking in Valencian with the clear intention that we would not understand her, being from outside the Valencian Community. Finally, they changed us to another room that turned out to be even worse: dirty, with stained sheets, and only one roll of toilet paper for three people for four nights. The cleaning service was non-existent, despite our requests. To top it off, the first night, despite having a “no trespassing” sign, the cleaning staff entered the room three times while we were sleeping, even checking on us. For these and many other reasons, I would not recommend this hotel under any circumstances. It was a horrible experience that I hope I never have to repeat.

We stayed one more night, as we were very comfortable. Beach and city center are close if you go by car.

A correct hotel, at a good price. It allows you to enjoy the beach, although it is a little far away, for people with children you need a car, since it is a walk of about 20 minutes to reach the beach. For the rest, a more than valid hotel to be able to rest and clean up during your stay in the Grao de Castellón

The hotel is very good and also having free parking is wonderful

The hotel has defects that can be corrected (unfitting window handles, chipped shower tray...) but it is very clean, the rooms are spacious and the breakfast varied.
