Residence Inn Casper

New and well laid out hotel. Appreciated the leg-shaving shelf in the shower. Would have appreciated a night light in the bathroom. We enjoyed the hot tub. The swivel TV with smart features was great. The outdoor patio with fire pit looked nice, but its was raining while we were there. Breakfast included hot items. Staff was helpful, although we encountered a snark because their credit card system was only semi-functional (swipe only available, tap and Apple Pay were "down").

What started out as a positive experience rapidly went down hill. Kudos to Jessica at the front desk for her welcoming attitude upon check-in and eagernes to help when upon arriving at our roon, we discovered the door ajar and the room itself having an extremely strong and unpleasant odor. Jessica attributed the odor to an over zealous cleaner and offered to change our room. Unfortunately, the adjacent rooms also had the same odor and there were no other rooms avaiable. Being tired from a 5 hour drive, we decided not to check-out. That proved to be a mistake. Upon Jessica's recommendation, we opened the windows to air out the room. That helped a bit but the strong odor returned during the middle of the night. The icing on the cake was discovering the shower gel dispensor empty once I was in the shower. Procedures need to be implemeneted for staff to check rooms after houskeeping and before releasing them to guests. The odor, no shower gel, and burnt-out lightbulbs earned this stay a poor review.

Room was large, comfortable, and most importantly, clean. The breakfast was very good, so much so that my husband gave the breakfast team a $20 tip. Well located, and even though we were close to the freeway, it was pretty quiet. We did smell cooking odor from another room…wouldn’t have been an issue but it started at 6AM and was so strong I was unable to go back to sleep.

We enjoyed staying at the Residence Inn Casper. The room was clean and spacious, and it’s always great to have a kitchen when we travel. There was only one sharp knife in the kitchen, and we had to hunt to find it (someone had put it next to the plates), but everything else was great

Really nice hotel. The best part is the people. Guest Services Manager Sugar Bond helped us beyond description. Coordinated back-to-back reservations when we added an extra night, in the busiest time of year, without a hitch and always with a smile. The rest of the staff too was already ready to help, with a smile. Spacious, clean room and the kitchen is a great to have. The best breakfast at a mid-range hotel we have seen.

Very nice place, close to dining and theatres, full kitchen and plenty of cookware and dishes and silverware, even a dishwasher, full couch that folds out into a bed, the pillows were really comfortable
