We had a wonderful stay at this charming old villa, surrounded by a beautiful, slightly wild garden that felt like something out of a fairytale. The atmosphere was incredibly romantic, with a peaceful, almost magical vibe throughout the property. The location is perfect—tucked away in a quiet and safe neighborhood, yet just a short walk from the center of Cascais. It offered the best of both worlds: tranquility and convenience. The staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was delicious, with a great selection, and we absolutely loved the "honest bar"—such a sweet and thoughtful touch. And of course, we can’t forget Vela, their adorable resident cat, who made our stay even more special. Highly recommend for couples or anyone looking for a unique and cozy place to stay in Cascais!

What a lovely place. Beautiful grounds, with plush gardens and water features. A couple of small pools with just the right amount of sun loungers/chairs. No need to be reserving! Only 12 min stroll to either the town or marina. All staff were very helpful and responsive to requests and on arrival also provided with a personal guide around the property showing the amenities. The room had all the usual amenities with daily housekeeping and a balcony/terrace overlooking the gardens and water features. A garden/pool bar with service was a great touch. We will be returning!

The hotel gardens are unique - a mini jungle but with plenty of spaces to lounge around. Just need to be wary that this time of year you will get bombarded by flies so bring some anti-fly cream! The neighborhood is quiet and a 15 mins stroll to where all the action is. Breakfast @10.50 is a good spread of grub, although the cooked offerings could have been hotter. We stayed in rooms 2 (the original house) and 18, both had their merits and can recommend. Overall an excellent 3 night stay and without question would return 👍

Such a beautiful hotel! Fine furnishings, attractive layout and quiet, leafy street. The breakfast room was like a cosy corner of a Portuguese mansion. Most of all, the helpful, friendly staff. I’d love to go back when the weather is warmer so I can use the pool.

We loved our week's stay here. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Special mention to Melissa. The room was a good size with a large balcony. The gardens are beautiful. It was so peaceful sitting by the pool with the little fountains providing the only sound. Some koi carp and ducks in one pond. The breakfast was great with plenty of choices including gluten free bread. There is free cake and coffee every evening which we enjoyed in the beautiful living room as in photo. Everywhere is kept very clean. We fully intend to return to Cascais and wouldn't stay anywhere else.

This boutique hotel is a hidden gem in the middle of a residential area, a short walk away from city center. From the shockingly beautiful gardens which we could’ve explored everyday to the incredibly helpful and kind staff (the outdoor bartender/masseuse was the best) to the awesome breakfast to the large room size to the bathroom size and great water pressure (hard to find sometimes). The entire stay was perfection! We will be back!

Boutique hotel in great location, tranquil historic hotel with newer additions in beautiful gardens. Lovely place to spend our 60th birthday celebrations with our family of differing ages. The Kitchenette worked well for those with young children and the pools were good for little ones too though could have been heated as they were very cold. Breakfast area lacked attention and drink choices were limited. Staff pleasant particularly the lady at the outdoor bar. Situated between the newer area and the old town which was convenient for supermarkets, great coffee shops and restaurants. Our favourite being a great night with a singer at “mana”. Within easy reach of the train station for Estoril. The bus for the surfers (bond ) beach and Ubers to Lisbon and Sintra.
