Pleasant stay. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Had everything we need for our stay. Bed was comfortable. Nice property close to town. Staff were helpful in finding a good place to eat. The buildings are on the older side, but appeared very well maintained. We would stay again if in the area.

This is the 4th year my siblings have come to the Cascade Motel for our annual sibling reunion. We always have a great time and love our rooms! The rooms are cleaner than some of the most expensive hotels I have stayed at. The new paint job on the cottages is perfect and makes them even more inviting. Darlene, thanks for the special treats you made for our family!

This little place was outstanding from booking to checking in to checking out. I love little stand alone independent hotels and motels. Especially when they are amazing as this place. The website was very easy to use, all of the rooms are a little different but explained perfectly. We received a phone call the day of our arrival advising our room was ready early, which was a nice touch. Check in was easy and the gal working was so pleasant and friendly, she even walked us down to our room and told us about the amenities and answered any questions we had. The grounds are very clean and they had a nice firepit, cornhole, and even a a bbq and cute little picnic table we played cards at in the evening (we would have loved to have a light or lantern to use once the sun started setting so we could keep playing our game). It is an easy walk in to town which was nice so we could enjoy some beers at the local brewery. Our room was very clean and updated. Our bed was comfortable and the ac worked great. Water pressure was outstanding in the shower as well. We loved the coffee and creamer choices in the room as well. You can tell that the owners love this property and maintain it wonderfully. The roof looked new as did the paint. Overall an excellent choice if you are coming through the area. The prices were reasonable for what we received. They even let us check out an hour late.

We had a great time st the cascade motel. We stayed at unit#10, and it was super clean and very charming. The property is family owned and operated, and the pride of ownership was evident. Beds were comfortable (even the sofa sleeper) and the unit was very roomy. We would definitely stay here again!

The setup is more like a duplex than a regular motel/hotel setup. The rooms were incredibly clean and much more comfortable than the typical chain motels. The towels were soft and felt better than the usual hotel towels. We didn't cook anything in the kitchen, but I looked through and there was everything you could need. Great area to sit outside and just quietly enjoy the evening. Scot was so polite and wonderful with suggestions for sites to see in the area. This place may be my all time favorite place that we have ever stayed. ❤️

The room was extremely clean and updated in a quiet neighborhood They have a gas fire pit outside that you can sit around and relax. There is also a BBQ area available. Owners are very nice and personable. Close to Park and downtown. Room that we stayed in had a microwave and fridge. They also have rooms available with separate bedrooms and kitchenettes. Fresh coffee is available at the office. Will definitely stay here again

Cascade Motel is a magical gem in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge. With its stand alone rooms and beautifully landscaped 3-acres this motel transport you back in time when motels were all designed as little cottages complete with their own little yard area, parking and a small kitchenette. The location is quiet and within easy walking distance to Cascade Locks and is ideal for an intimate wedding setting. We have been coming here every summer and sometimes fall for the last years. We love this place so much we planned our very small, intimate wedding here and the entire weekend was even more amazing than we could have envisioned. We have stayed in every room. Each room offers its own charm and cozy feeling. We always look forward to seeing what new decor has been added to our favorite rooms and reconnecting with Lisa (the manager) and the owners. all of whom are genuinely gracious and lovely. They go out of their way to make your stay memorable and delightful.

Our first time staying at Cascade Motel. After talking to Lisa in the office, I booked a one bed cabin for one night. It was small, but had everything we wanted: free wifi, refrigerator, microwave, quiet, coffee and muffins in the office for breakfast, and our room was immaculately clean. The surroundings are beautiful and spacious. Lisa was so friendly; she recommended best restaurants for dinner, and where we would enjoy our morning walk, ect. We walked a short way to a very well kept park along the river. It was amazing. This was the most comfortable, quiet, friendly place I have ever stayed at, and I will surely return and for a much longer stay. LISA made us feel so welcome. She is the BEST!

.Lovely place, location & people! And i agree with Miranda's spot-on review (please read that!). After decades exploroing the Gorge, & my own weeks-long stay recently (Feb\ March of 2022), i can add the following: Owners Darlene & Scott (+even their daughter), together w/their staff (Mgr.Lisa + Rosie & Tom), appreciate you & your individual needs, accommodating you in every way possible. Enjoy grilling out, warming by the fire pit (in the wet or cold seasons) & roasting some marshmellows or smores. The Cascade Motel is more like a community than merely a place to stay. Recharge here, it's like home: They all respect your privacy, & have you feeling like one of the extended family that live at &\or visit to maintain & run the fine property they have. And if you have never visited the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area of Washington State & Oregon, Cascade Locks is its Heart & Soul, right on the Pacific Crest Trail (see film Wild: it concludes right here!), near geological wonders galore, numerous picturesque waterfalls & trails, Mt. Hood, Portland, & Mt. Adams. Everything in town is within close walking distance & you can even hike across the Bridge of the Gods to an interpretive center / museum in Stevenson WA for a wonderfully-curated display of local natural & human history alongside a brilliant photographic slice of Cascadia in photos that include amazing pictures of before & after Mt.St.Helens' eruption (also see the Mount Saint Helens National Volcanic Monument nearby & be inspired by nature's power, beauty & resilience on display there). Have a cooling summer swim off Thunder island, or go hop in a water fall. Visit the grand (& famous) Multnomah Falls nearby, too. Find your bliss here in several ways: Extraordinary landscape photography, hiking, biking, sailing, kiting, windsurfing, paddling, fishing, swimming, or just relaxing & taking the beauty in. Enjoy! Thank you, Lisa & all. Great stay.
