The Cascade Motel

My wife and I stayed 7 nights in this PARADISE!!!!. A special chapter: Checked in by Lisa, what a lovely, kind person. She welcomes you with such warmth. We'll never forget the pasta with smoked ham. My wife and I stayed in Cottage 2. Spectacular, great-sized room. Bathroom great. Everything worked. The great-sized kitchen also has everything you need and more. We used the grill in the garden, every day. If you're lucky to meet Mr. Scot, he will give you tips on places to visit He and his wife always taking care the property The location is spectacular, you'll be able to explore the city , restaurants and ice cream shop etc.. walking distance. This is a nice little find in a very small town. It is not a 5 star hotel by any means but it is not part of the plastic chain hotels out there and it was super clean and safe. Amenities are basic and good. Beds, sheets, towels, are all acceptable. Not luxury but nice. Bonus, you can park your motorcycle right next to the door.

Great big front lawns. There are Adirondack chairs to sit and enjoy the outdoors, cornhole set up and a fire pit as well. CLEAN rooms. Bed was ok-ish, Tv tiny but lots to stream. Horribly low toilet with NO grab bars to help you. Ok for one night.

Attentive staff, clean room.

The room was okay for a one night stay We stayed in the one bed with a bathroom. It had an adjoining door to the cabin with kitchen, living room, and bathroom that someone else was in. It was a bed, one chair with a TV, fridge, microwave & coffee table. It worked for a place to sleep. It was clean. A longer stay & I recommend getting the full cabin.
