What a special place! Photos do not portray the charm, coziness and connectivity to nature this cabin offers. It tucked back along the river in a peaceful setting with sounds of the river outside and miles of woods to explore. We spent our days walking, playing in the shallow river and picking out beautiful rocks. The home provides plenty of space inside and out for gathering or spending time alone to read a book and relax. We took day trips Franklin and Dillard (wanted to see Pickens Nose on the way), but I think our favorite was the day we spent at the cabin — exploring and just being with our family.

The home was perfectly decorated and so cozy as a truly rustic old fashioned real cabin… with elegance and simplicity… our family loved it. From all the antiques to the cool flowing waters of the Nantahala just down the hill, it was an experience we will never forget. We would definitely stay again!

Wonderful place in the woods!
We had a girl group that stayed for 6 nights. We loved the view and the river. There was a lovely little fairy glen on the river that was absolutely wonderful. The porches were a great place for sitting any time. We enjoyed trips to Jackrabbit Mountain, Lake Chatuge, Wayah Bald, Rufus Morgan Falls and some other locations. It was a wonderful trip. The cabin has everything that you need.

We wanted a relaxing and peaceful few days away from home, and we were not disappointed! The cabin was clean and cozy and in a private, beautiful area. The owner was super quick to reply to all of my questions. An overall great time!
