Tru by Hilton Cartersville

Good location. New Hotel. It was noisy. A group of kids were downstairs on the pool table while their parents sat off to the side while they yelled, & threw things across the room. This was very off putting considering we’d just walked in the building to check in. The young lady at the desk asked numerous times for them to quiet down. I eventually get my key and head up to my room. As I’m walking the room and checking things out to make sure everything is to my liking, I pull the duvet back and there is blood on the comforter. They eventually switched my room.

The laundry wasn’t working which is an issue when you’re there for a week playing baseball. The workout room was filthy. Had a nice expensive Peloton bike that couldn’t be used because the pedals had to have clip in shoes. The other pedals were broke and in a drawer. They never had workout towels or anything to wipe down the equipment. I wiped mine down before working out and it was filled with dust like it had never been cleaned. The pool had a greenish tint to it.

Very clean great staff the bed could be firmer but that is the only thing I would change

Friendly staff. Clean. Kind of like a college dorm set up in the common area. Not thrilled that it was cashless for snack purchases.

We are staying here for 3 nights for a memorial service. The hotel is clean and comfortable. However the noise from all the kids staying here is unreal. There are kids screaming outside. Kids running up and down the hallways. Apparently this hotel is taken over on the weekends by obnoxious ball teams with parents who have no consideration for others, it is 11:00 pm and parents are letting their spawn scream in the parking lot and management seems to be ok with it. So, if you want to sleep, this is not the place for it.

Great place: Clean, modern, convenient location & friendly staff. However there is no place in the room to put your suitcase. No surface is big enough and no drawers to unpack it in and no closet. We got a king room just for reference. Also the pool was closed this weekend but had been open the weekend before. It has a great social lobby, great breakfast and pet area!
