Hotel has nice views. Beds were ok. Rooms were clean. Noise between rooms was noticeable especially when people upstairs are dancing the polka! Exterior needs maintenance. Check-in staff were very friendly. Pool hours were odd so didn’t get to experience. Hotel is situated in serene setting and not really walkable to much. Hood River is 30 minutes and $3.50 in tolls away. Nice hiking nearby. Not sure it was worth the price we paid.

My room was not ready when I arrived 15 minutes after check-in time. I arrived at about 4:15 (check in time is 4:00) after a long 7 hour drive. After giving my name at the desk I was told that my room was not ready and was offered a rather terse - sorry - and no other explanation. I was tired and a little grumpy unsure of what to do. No options were offered to me. I asked how long it might take and was told about 20 minutes. I then asked what I was supposed to do in the meantime and received the the reply, “ you can have a seat here.” So I did. I waited 45 minutes (5:10) before approaching the desk again and asked about my room at which time they said it was ready. The girl checking me in was not apologetic but appeared rather annoyed and went over my room directions very quickly so that I had to stop her and ask her to slow down and repeat what she had said. I asked if there would be any compensation for the inconvenience and the hour lost and she just handed me the managers business card - who was not there on a busy weekend. ??? I asked again to see the manager when I checked out on Tuesday, again, the manager was not available and was told that she would call me - she did not. I emailed the manager and have not received any response. If you read the managers responses on the reviews here she says that she's "sorry for the bad experience" but clearly hasn't bothered to do anything to improve customer service. I would have been pacified with friendly personnel who offered me a complimentary drink at the restaurant while I waited.

This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed here and in the exact same room, H101. The heat of the tub was tepid at best. We spent the whole of the night boiling hot water on the stove utilizing additional pots of our own. We tried 3 different times to enjoy the tub, chalking it up to the fact maybe a lot of guests had just checked in but to no avail. The sinks, shower and tub all held the same tepid temperature. The jacuzzi had mildew and mold on it which is by the way apparently is the spring/mineral water. All else, is indeed city water as told to me by maintenance. When I called to speak with a representative of the resort in the morning , no one answered but I did receive a call back and was reassured maintenance would be assisting us. Brandon stated this was a city temperature ordinance. If so, then you should state your water temperatures prior to the arrival of your guests. We spent 330 plus about 20 in fees for this room. Brandon did somehow manage to fix the issue and we enjoyed the room for a total of two hours in the morning prior to check out and assured us he spoke to GM and we would be speaking with them. However, upon checking out, the also tepid front desk staff notified us the GM wasn’t on the property. I would give Zero stars if it wasn’t for Brandon. The morning staff was far below average. I am writing this as a multiple diamond member at Hilton, Multiple Gold member at Marriott, Gold Member of Delta and a person whose professional career is flying around the country measuring Temperature and Humidity in sterile and sub sterile environments. Trust me, the water was cold. I very rarely am so upset that I write a bad review and often go out of my way to acknowledge the hard work of staff, hotel and resorts as a whole. Spend your money elsewhere, we won’t be returning! I’d rather drive all the way to Ashland and enjoy Lithia Springs Resort!

I was at the property for 3 nights and my tv was inoperable due to a tv software update needed. I told them night one and they said the maintenance person wasn’t there. I knew all that was needed was the actual tv manufacturer remote to be used to hit ‘ok’ and update it. Out for another full day with a hiking trip and night two the same message on the tv and again no maint person to help. Same story on night three and there was an NBA playoff game I really wanted to watch after hiking all day. Since I prepaid via ******* they said there was nothing they could do to offset the inconvenience. I love watching tv and after hrs of hiking all day I just wanted to relax watching tv. Such an easy fix and ridiculous it wasn’t fixed in the couple mins it would have taken. ☹️
