Courtyard Isla Verde Beach Resort

Service was great. Very friendly staff. Super clean rooms and chill vibes. Went for a wedding on the site. I was upgraded from an ocean view king room to a suite for absolutely no reason so that was a pleasant surprise. Since I was there for a wedding and not really touring I enjoyed it quite a bit. I had a bedroom with a large bathroom, living room/kitchenette. Kitchenette had a mini-fridge, pots and pans, glass and tableware. Microwave, sink, electric range, coffee maker. Coffee and tea provided and bottled water. Beautiful pool, gym, excellent beach access with lawn chairs, umbrellas and towels. Clean beautiful beach—not too crowded. Friendly bar. Cafe on site and take away food. Good restaurant. A small ****** if that is your thing. Seems like hotel is making renovations and updating, but they still managed to make it cosy and appealing while this is going on. My friends were getting married on the beach and everything was so pretty. They seemed very accommodating and helpful for all of their needs. The reception and buffet dinner were in a second floor open air space overlooking the ocean. Was perfect and cosy for around 40 guests plus the wedding party with room for a 3 piece band. This is a solid comfortable place to stay whether you are touring around Puerto Rico or chilling on the beach. It’s super close to the airport and about 15 minutes from old San Juan. Family friendly and definitely caters to all kinds of travelers. Would stay again.

Just wonderful! Everyone is very friendly and we were treated with terrific service! The pool /towel man, Fernando, is a true treasure! He is a one-man stand and makes everyone feel special. The concierge really helped us so much! This was our third trip this year and we will return again.

Inside the hotel is Cafe Colao, I didn’t know it was possible to mess up breakfast but they did. 2 cold coffees, asked for avocado toast and got a smear of avocado on UNTOASTED bread! The same with the salmon and cream cheese also on untoasted bread.. Waited in line 25 minutes for this!! The two woman obviously stressed and so early in the morning.

I was absolutely blown away. Nicest courtyard Marriott I’ve ever seen. I’ve spent over 3,000 nights in hotels over the last 55 years and this one is close to the top. Beautiful, comfortable and clean rooms. Newly renovated with all the modern amenities. Pool is perfect with sun and shade available. Pool is clean and beautiful with a swim up bar. One of the nicest beaches in Puerto Rico right outside. Great chair service. Both restaurants serve tremendous food and great service. The bars are beautiful and the service even better.

Favorite hotel , we love the pool and that is open all day and water is never cold. the beach is always clean and calm. Room was clean, ac working great and bed comfortable. Sunset from balcony was a blessing. The Staff was very helpful. We appreciate Hotel manager Mr Efrain Rosa and Assistant manager Anna always easy to reach and available to answer any questions. This is 4th time staying here and thank God never had any issues. Will be back 🙏
