New House Near Carlsbad Caverns!

Very comfortable & great location

Needs attention Beautiful house and only 30 minutes from the cave. However, to make it perfect there were a few things that need to be addressed...tub mat for safety and a shower head in the master that works.

Perfect for Visiting the National Parks We stayed at this very nice home while we took day trips to the surrounding National Parks (Carlsbad Caverns, Guadeloupe Mohntains, White Sands) and Roswell, NM. This location served us well as a home base for our travels and recouping from daily adventures.

Lovely and clean house The house was clean and in a new neighborhood. It was quiet and had easy access to all the activities we had planned. We did ask for access to the washer and dryer prior to arrival, so we were able to use it with the stipulation of bringing our own detergent. I had asked if the kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans and cooking utensils since we planned on cooking breakfasts and dinners during our stay. I was told it was well stocked. I would not say it was well stocked to cook for a group. The pots and pans were all small and we needed a whisk to make one of our desserts, but there was no hand whisk or mixer to be found. The strainer was tiny and there wasn’t a pasta spoon either. I know we’re probably the minority who want to cook on vacation, but a few more kitchen items would make this place great! We also never received check out instructions, so I wasn’t sure exactly what to do - we put the towels in the wash since we had access and stripped the beds since that’s what we’ve done in other vrbo’s we’ve stayed at. aside from those minor issues, the house was great and I would definitely recommend!

National Park Home Base Great house to access Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountains.

Visit area - national parks and other attractions Very nice accommodations. Was able to call VRBO owner and quickly resolve a minor issue.
